At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister praised the cooperation between Egyptian research centers in the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Agriculture with Eva Pharma, which sets an example of cooperation between research and the private sector. As Dr pointed out Ashour said that the manufacturing of the Egyptian vaccine against Coronavirus comes within the directions of the political leadership, by taking all necessary measures to contribute to protecting citizens from the Corona pandemic, certainly the importance of this project in Egypt becoming one of the vaccine producing countries, serving the Egyptian, Arab and African people. During the meeting, the sides researched the next steps; to complete the vaccine production with its second and third phases. Concluding the meeting, the Minister affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to provide support and assistance to produce a vaccine that parallels global products and to produce a domestic product that contributes to the elimination of coronavirus.
