Events of the Entrepreneurship Camp organized by the ITTU Integrated Technology Transfer Unit at Assiut University in collaboration with the Academy of Research and Technology titled, “Your Idea Your Company”, and continued for five days with the participation of students of Assiut University, STEM schools and students of AI schools, where the activities included training participants to transform The idea with a pioneering and innovative approach to a company, the number of participating students reached 40 trainees, they submitted more than 40 applicable ideas in various disciplines between: (IT, AI, Waste Recycling, Public Services, Organic Fertilizer Production, Waste Management), and the jury added an elite of faculty members from Various universities and stakeholders in entrepreneurship in Upper Egypt, to escalate the distinctive ideas to provide the necessary support for it by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology; to become a start-up for startups from the entrepreneurship club of Assiut University. The president of the university emphasized that the launch of the entrepreneurship club at the University of Assiut is the first in Upper Egypt, and it offers entrepreneurship service to Upper Egypt youth in general, where the club serves creative ideas from students and graduates of the University of AssIut and Upper Egypt, as well as pre-university students of creative ideas For implementation, providing an environment to embrace the youth, training for students in the field of entrepreneurship. The President of the University pointed out that in a framework to support entrepreneurship among the University students, the University founded the Technology Enterprises Incubator (startup), which is a core of leading projects to serve the national economy, specializing in embracing pioneering innovative and creative projects of developmental students, as well as motivating, creating employment opportunities and improving skills of the students of the University of Assiut and Said Egypt. The University also allocated part of its budget; to provide financial support to student entrepreneurs who are able to compete in the labor market and serve the community.
