More Higher Education: New Cairo Technology University signs a protocol of cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University D confirmed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on the importance of cooperation and integration between universities to improve the educational, academic and research level of universities, and exchange of experiences, skills and knowledge among faculty members to develop higher education system in Egypt, reflecting on preparing a generation capable of meeting the requirements of the modern and future labor market. In this context, the New Cairo University of Technology has been signed under the chairmanship of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Shafi Sheikh Protocol Joint Cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University headed by Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College; to consolidate cooperation between the sides, intensify and activate practical training and student exchange in the engineering and technology sectors. The protocol aims to enhance cooperation between the two universities in the fields of training and technical and practical applications for students; to take advantage of workshops and laboratories available in the two universities, and to hold joint conferences in the areas of industrial development, technology, training and employment. And on his side, confirmed the Dr. Mahmoud Al-Sheikh on the pursuit of New Cairo Technological University to hold several protocols of cooperation with different bodies and institutions; to strengthen the means of joint cooperation and the advancement of technological education, citing the importance of cooperation between the two universities in different fields of production, service and training as it contributes to raising the professional and scientific level of the university for graduation A generation that is capable of competing in the local, regional and international labor market, providing necessary experiences to university students on the scientific and practical level. And the Dr points out. Omar Al-Husseini emphasizes the importance of supporting and strengthening the framework of cooperation between Egyptian universities, to support the quality of educational performance, reflecting the higher education system in Egypt, emphasizing his expectation for more fruitful cooperation, in different educational and research spheres. On the other hand, the President of the New Cairo University of Technology visited the Salesian Don Bosco Institute, in the framework of supporting the cooperation between the New Cairo University, industrial entities and applied technology schools; with the aim of preparing outstanding generations of technologists capable of meeting the requirements of the local, regional and international labor market. The visit included research on ways of co-operation between the University and the Institute regarding practical training and student exchange, facilitating the admission process of students of the Institute to complete their undergraduate studies for Baccalaureate of Technology in different disciplines, as well as conducting an inspection tour of the Institute’s workshops to get to know the study and training system of the Institute, as presented by the President of the University A detailed explanation about the New Cairo University of Technology and its curriculum for the students of the institute.
