التقى الدكتور خالد العناني وزير السياحة والآثار، بالمتحف القومي للحضارة المصرية بالفسطاط، بالسيد زوراب بولوليكاشفيلي الأمين العام لمنظمة السياحة العالمية والذي جاء في زيارة إلى مصر على رأس وفد من المنظمة تلبية للدعوة التي وجهها له السيد الوزير للمشاركة في حضور موكب المومياوات الملكية المقرر انطلاقه السبت ٣ أبريل الجاري.
وقد حضر اللقاء الدكتور أحمد غنيم الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة المتحف القومي للحضارة المصرية، والمستشار عبد المحسن شافعي المُشرف على الإدارة المركزية للعلاقات الدولية والعامة بالوزارة، والأستاذة ميرهان عبد الفتاح أخصائي مشروعات إدارة الشرق الأوسط بمنظمة السياحة العالمية.
وخلال اللقاء، تم مناقشة العديد من الموضوعات من بينها سبل استئناف حركة السياحة حول العالم، ووضع السياحة العالمية والتوقعات المستقبلية لها خاصة في ظل أزمة فيروس كورونا.
كما تناول اللقاء مناقشة بعض المبادرات الخاصة بتشجيع السياحة الريفية بما يساهم في الحفاظ على التراث الطبيعي والثقافي الفريد لهذه المجتمعات وتحقيق سياحة أكثر استدامة وشمولية ومرونة، حيث تحدث وزير السياحة والآثار عن مشروع تطوير القرى المصرية الذي أطلقته الدولة المصرية ضمن مبادرة “حياة كريمة”.
ومن جانبه، قام الأمين العام للمنظمة بتسليم الدكتور خالد العناني نماذج من المطويات التى تم إعدادها بالتعاون بين الوزارة والمنظمة وتم خلالها اختيار عدد من الأكلات المصرية التراثية الشهيرة لتقوم المنظمة بتبنى توزيعها للترويج لسياحة الطعام التي تعد أحد أدوات الترويج السياحي الحديثة وتجذب الكثير من السائحين حول العالم.
وفي نهاية اللقاء، تبادل الوزير والأمين العام للمنظمة الهدايا التذكارية.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities meets the Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization
Dr. Khaled El Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, met with Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization, who came on a visit to Egypt at the head of a delegation from the organization in response to the invitation that the Minister addressed to him to participate in the attendance of the royal mummies parade scheduled to start on Saturday 3 This April.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Counselor Abdel Mohsen Shafi’i, Supervisor of the Central Department for International and Public Relations at the Ministry, and Mrs. Mirhan Abdel Fattah, Specialist Projects for the Middle East Department at the World Tourism Organization.
During the meeting, many topics were discussed, including ways to resume tourism around the world, the status of global tourism and its future prospects, especially in light of the pandemic.
The meeting also discussed some initiatives to encourage rural tourism in a way that contributes to preserving the unique natural and cultural heritage of these communities and achieving more sustainable, comprehensive and flexible tourism. The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities talked about the Egyptian villages development project launched by the Egyptian state as part of the “Decent Life” initiative.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the organization delivered Dr. Khaled El Enany samples of the brochures that were prepared in cooperation between the ministry and the organization, during which a number of famous Egyptian traditional foods were chosen for the organization to adopt its distribution to promote food tourism, which is one of the modern tourism promotion tools and attracts many tourists around the world. .
At the end of the meeting, the Minister and Secretary General of the organization exchanged souvenirs.
