خلال زيارتهما لمحافظتي الأقصر وسوهاج، وافتتاح مشروعي ترميم وتطوير منطقة معبد أتريبس بالشيخ حمد ومنطقة مقابر الحواويش بمحافظة سوهاج اليوم، التقى الدكتور خالد العناني وزير السياحة والآثار والطيار محمد منار وزير الطيران المدني مع عدد من أعضاء مجلسي النواب والشيوخ بمحافظة سوهاج وذلك لمناقشة عدد من الموضوعات ذات الصلة بقطاعي السياحة والآثار والطيران.
واستهل الدكتور خالد العناني الاجتماع بالحديث عن المقومات السياحية والأثرية التي تتمتع بها محافظة سوهاج، مشيرا إلى ضرورة تضافر جميع الجهود لتعظيم وتطوير البنية التحتية للمحافظة لاستقبال الزائرين وخاصة من رفع وزيادة الطاقة الفندقية بها حتى يتسنى وضعها على خريطة السياحة العالمية وخاصة لما تحتويه من معالم سياحية وأثرية.
واستعرض الوزير في حديثه المشروعات الأثرية التي تم الانتهاء منها في المحافظة منها مشروع تطوير الخدمات السياحية بمعبد ابيدوس، ومشروع خفض منسوب المياه الجوفية بمعبد الأوزيريون، وترميم تمثال الملك رمسيس الثاني بالمتحف المفتوح بأخميم.
وتحدث الوزير عن خطة الوزارة للعمل على تطوير كافة المتاحف والمواقع الأثرية في كافة المحافظات ولاسيما رفع جودة الخدمات بها لتحسين تجربة الزائرين والسائحين وبما يساهم في زيادة معدلات الزيارة إليها.
وأوضح أنه يتم حالياً العمل على إتاحة كافة المتاحف والمواقع الأثرية لذوي الهمم والذي من المقرر الانتهاء منه في يونيو المقبل، لافتاً إلى أن الوزارة تقوم في إطار ذلك بإعداد مجموعة من الكتيبات عن المواقع الأثرية بلغة الإشارة وبطريقة برايل ليتم توزيعها على الزائرين.
كما تطرق للحديث عن أهمية رفع الوعي الأثري والسياحي لدى المواطنين، لافتا إلى أن الوزارة تقوم بتنظيم عدد من الرحلات التثقيفية لأبناء المحافظة من طلاب المدارس والجامعات للأماكن السياحية والأثرية المختلفة.
وأشار الوزير إلى أنه هناك مناقشات لتعديل عدد من القوانين، كما أنه لأول مرة تم تشكيل اللجنة الوزارية للسياحة والآثار برئاسة دولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء.
وأضاف أنه تم أيضا تشكيل لأول مرة اللجنة الدائمة لتراخيص المنشآت الفندقية والسياحية برئاسته وتضم في عضويتها قيادات كافة الجهات المعنية بالنشاط السياحي في مصر، وذلك بقرار من رئيس مجلس الوزراء، مشيرا إلى أن هذه اللجنة تختص ببحث ودراسة المشروعات الفندقية والسياحية والعمل على مواجهة المشاكل والعقبات التي تواجهها، بالإضافة الي بحث ودراسة الطلبات المقدمة من المستثمرين للحصول على تراخيص تشغيل المنشآت الفندقية والسياحية، وتجديدها، واتخاذ قرارات بشأنها، وإبلاغ قراراتها لوزارة السياحة والآثار لتتولي إصدار التراخيص أو تجديدها طبقا للضوابط المقررة قانونا
وخلال الاجتماع، تم مناقشة مقترح لرفع كفاءة الخدمات بمنطقة البلينا بالمحافظة لجعلها نموذجاً للسياحة الريفية حيث انها تضم آثار كثيرة مثل منطقة ابيدوس وشونة الزبيب وغيرهما.
كما تم مناقشة سبل رفع كفاءة البنية التحتية داخل المنشآت السياحية، وبحث آليات وضع سوهاج على الخريطة السياحية وتسويق المحافظة عالميا ودوليا فى المعارض الخارجية.
ومن جانبه صرح الطيار محمد منار وزير الطيران المدنى أن وزارة الطيران المدنى تحرص دائماً على تقديم كافة التسهيلات والخدمات اللازمة لأبناء صعيد مصر، وذلك في ضوء توجهات الحكومة المصرية لتنمية مدن الصعيد حيث تولى الوزارة اهتماماً كبيراً بتطوير وتحديث مطارات الوجه القبلى بشكل دائم وتحسين كافة الخدمات المقدمة للمسافرين من أجل رفع الكفاءة التشغيلية للمطارات وبخاصة مطار سوهاج الذى يعد من أهم المطارات الإقليمية في مصر حيث يخدم المطار مخططات الدولة لجذب الاستثمارات ومواكبة مشروعات التنمية بمنطقة الصعيد والوجه القبلي.
فقد تم الانتهاء مؤخراً من أعمال التطوير بالمطار ومنها تطوير صالات كبار الزوار و المباني الإدارية والخدمية ، كما تم انشاء مبنى جديد المخازن والذى بدأت الأعمال الانشائية بها فى مارس ٢٠٢٠ وتم الانتهاء منها فى يناير الماضى ٢٠٢١ وتيسراً على مرتادى المطار تم انشاء مظلات لساحتى انتظار وتوديع الركاب هذا فضلاً عن تطوير البنية التحتية بالمطار ومن بينها تحديث واحلال طلمبات مياه الشرب وزيادة المساحات الخضراء بالمطار وحفاظا على سلامة المسافرين والعاملين بالمطار تم الانتهاء من مشروع رفع كفاءة شبكة مكافحة الحريق الارضية وذلك من أجل الوصول لأعلى معدلات السلامةوالامان . وجارى حالياً أعمال الصيانة لبرج المراقبة الجوية لرفع كفاءته وانشاء مظلات للسيارات وصالة انتظار جديدة تسع ٢٥٠ فرد وملحق بها دورات مياه وكافيتريا ومجهزة بكافة الانظمة المطلوبة لخدمة الركاب والمرافقين . ومن منطلق دورها الوطنى نحو المساهمة فى تقديم كافة سبل الدعم لابناء الصعيد وتذليل كافة الصعوبات التى قد تواجههم وبخاصة العاملين المغتربين بالخارج ، تقوم الشركة الوطنية مصر للطيران بدورها نحو المسئولية المجتمعية وذلك بنقل جثامين أبناء الوطن من المغتربين العاملين بالخارج إلى مطار القاهرة الدولى وبعد وصولها أرض الوطن تتحمل شركة مصر للطيران تكلفة نقلها برا إلى محافظة سوهاج.
هذا بجانب الجهود المبذولة مع وزارة الصحة من خلال التنسيق والتعاون مع مديرية الصحة بمحافظة سوهاج بشأن تخصيص عدد (٣) ثلاجات حفظ موتى بالمستشفيات لصالح مطار سوهاج على أن يتم نقل الجثمان إلى إحدى تلك المستشفيات المتعاقد معها، وذلك فى حالة تأخر استلام الجثمان من ذويه.
ومن جانبهم، قدم أعضاء مجلس النواب الشكر للوزيرين على زيارتهما لمحافظة سوهاج، وحرصهم على لقائهم لبحث بعض المشكلات التي تواجه المحافظة سياحيا، كما أبدوا استعدادهم للتعاون مع الوزارة في عملية إتاحة المواقع الأثرية لذوي الهمم.
The Ministers of Tourism and Antiquities and Civil Aviation meet with a number of members of the House of Representatives and the Senate in Sohag
During their visit to Luxor and Sohag, and the inauguration of the two projects for the restoration and development of the temple area of Atripis in Sheikh Hamad and the area of the Hawawish cemeteries in Sohag today, Dr. Khaled El Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and Pilot Muhammad Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation met with a number of members of the House of Representatives and the Senate in Sohag , to discuss a number of issues of relevance to the tourism, antiquities and aviation sectors.
Dr. Khaled El Enany began the meeting by talking about the tourist and archaeological potential Sohag has, indicating the necessity of concerting all efforts to maximize and develop the infrastructure of the city to receive visitors, especially in raising and increasing the hotel capacity so that it can be placed on the world tourism map, especially because of its tourist and archaeological attractions.
In his speech, the minister reviewed the archaeological projects that have been completed in the city, including the project to develop tourism services in the Abydos Temple, the project to reduce the groundwater level in the Osirion Temple, and the restoration of the statue of King Ramses II in the open museum in Akhmim.
The minister talked about the ministry’s plan to work on developing all museums and archaeological sites in all cities, especially raising the quality of services in them to improve the experience of visitors and tourists, in a way that contributes to increasing the rates of visit to them.
He explained that work is currently underway to make all museums and archaeological sites available for people with special needs, which is scheduled to be completed next June, pointing out that the ministry is preparing, a set of booklets on archaeological sites in sign language and in Braille, to be distributed to visitors.
He also talked about the importance of raising the archaeological and tourism awareness among the citizens, pointing out that the Ministry is organizing a number of educational trips for the people of the city, including students from schools and universities, to various tourist and archaeological sites.
The minister pointed out that there are discussions to amend a number of laws, and that for the first time the Ministerial Committee for Tourism and Antiquities was formed, headed by the Prime Minister.
He added that, for the first time, the permanent committee for licensing hotel and tourism establishments was formed under his chairmanship, and its membership includes leaders of all parties concerned with tourism activity in Egypt, by a decision of the Prime Minister, noting that this committee is concerned with researching and studying hotel and tourism projects and working to confront the problems and obstacles that It faces. In addition to researching and studying requests from investors to obtain operating licenses for hotel and tourism facilities, renewing them, taking decisions regarding them, and reporting its decisions to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to take over the issuance or renewal of licenses according to the legally established controls
During the meeting, a proposal was discussed to raise the efficiency of services in the Balina region to make it a model for rural tourism, as it includes many monuments such as Abydos, Shounet Al-Zebeeb and others.
They also discussed ways to raise the efficiency of the infrastructure within the tourism facilities, the mechanisms of placing Sohag on the tourist map and marketing the city internationally and locally in exhibitions were discussed.
Pilot Mohamed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, stated that the Ministry of Civil Aviation is always keen to provide all the necessary facilities and services to the people of Upper Egypt, in light of the Egyptian government’s directives to develop the Upper Egypt cities, as the ministry pays great attention to developing and modernizing the airports of Upper Egypt permanently and improving all services provided for travelers in order to raise the operational efficiency of the airports, especially the Sohag Airport, which is one of the most important regional airports in Egypt, as the airport serves the state’s plans to attract investments and keep pace with development projects in Upper Egypt.
The development work at the airport has recently been completed, including the development of VIP lounges, administrative and service buildings, and a new building has been constructed for warehouses, which its construction began in March 2020 and was completed in January 2021. In addition to developing the airport infrastructure, including modernizing and replacing drinking water fountains, increasing green spaces at the airport, and in order to preserve the safety of travelers and airport workers, the project to raise the efficiency of the ground fire fighting network has been completed in order to reach the highest levels of safety and security.
Maintenance work is underway for the air traffic control tower to raise its efficiency and construct car sheds and a new waiting hall for 250 people, attached to it toilets and a cafeteria. The airport equipped with all the systems required to serve passengers and escorts. From the standpoint of its national role towards contributing to providing all means of support for the people of Upper Egypt and overcoming all the difficulties that may face them, especially expatriate workers. The National Company of Egypt Air takes its role towards social responsibility by transporting the bodies of the nation’s expatriates working to Cairo International Airport and after they reach the homeland. EgyptAir shall bear the cost of transporting by land to Sohag.
This is in addition to the efforts made with the Ministry of Health through coordination and cooperation with the Health Directorate in Sohag regarding the allocation of (3) fridges for preserving the dead in hospitals for the benefit of Sohag Airport, provided that the body is transferred to one of those contracted hospitals, in the event of delay in receiving the body by relatives.
The members of the House of Representatives thanked the two ministers for their visit to Sohag, and their eagerness to meet with them to discuss some of the tourism problems the city is facing, and they also expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Ministry in the process of making archaeological sites available to people of determination.
