نظمت وزارة السياحة والآثار دورة تدريبية ، لعدد ٢٩ من العاملين بشارع المعز لدين الله الفاطمي بمنطقة القاهرة التاريخية، من افراد امن مدني، وذلك في إطار خطة الوزارة للارتقاء بالعنصر البشري العاملين بالقطاع السياحي في المنشآت السياحية والفندقية والمتاحف والمواقع الأثرية على مستوى الجمهورية.
ومن جانبها، أشارت الدكتورة سها بهجت مستشار وزير السياحة والآثار لشئون التدريب إلى أنه تم تنظيم هذه الدورة التدريبية في إطار الخطة التدريبية للوزارة والتي يتم تنفيذها تحت مسمى برنامج “سفراء السياحة” بتمويل من بنك الإسكندرية وتنفيذ مؤسسة Rythm التدريبية المعتمدة من Institute of Hospitality في المملكة المتحدة، والذي يهدف إلى رفع الوعي السياحي لدى العاملين بالمنشآت السياحية والفندقية والمتاحف والمواقع الأثرية وتعريفهم بالسلوكيات الصحيحة التي يجب اتباعها مع السائحين والزائرين ليكونوا سفراء للبلاد أثناء التعامل مع الزائرين بالأماكن السياحية والأثرية.
وأضافت الدكتورة سها بهجت أنه من خلال برنامج “سفراء السياحة” تم تنظيم دورات تدريبية للعاملين بعدد من الأماكن الأثرية على مستوى الجمهورية منها الأقصر، ومنطقة آثار سقارة، وقلعة قايتباي، وقلعة صلاح الدين، ومتحف المركبات الملكية، قصر البارون، كما أنه من المقرر خلال الفترة القادمة تنظيم دورات تدريبية للعاملين بالمتحف القومي للحضارة المصرية وباقي المواقع الأثرية على مستوى الجمهورية.

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities organized a training course for 29 workers at Al Moez Street in the Old Cairo Region, among the workers were civil security personnel, as a part of the Ministry’s plan to uplift people working in the tourism sector in tourism and hotel establishments, museums and archaeological sites nationwide.
Dr. Soha Bahgat, Advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Training Affairs, indicated that this training course was organized as a part of the Ministry’s training plan, which is being implemented under the name of the “Tourism Ambassadors” program, funded by Alex Bank and implemented by the Rythm Training Institution accredited by the Institute of Hospitality in the Kingdom. The institute aims to raise tourism awareness among workers in tourist and hotel facilities, museums and archaeological sites and introduce them to the proper behaviors that must be followed with tourists and visitors to be ambassadors for the country while dealing with visitors in tourist and archaeological sites.
Dr. Soha Bahgat added that through the “Tourism Ambassadors” program, training courses have been organized for workers in a number of archaeological sites at a regional level, including Luxor, Saqqara Antiquities, Qaitbay Citadel, Saladin Citadel, Royal Carriages Museum, Baron Palace. The training courses are all scheduled during the coming period, the next one will be for employees of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and more will be done rest of the archaeological sites nationwide.
