Ambassador Hisham Abdel Salam Al-Mukwad met with Congolese Health Minister Samuel Roger Kamba Mulamba, where the meeting discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Democratic Republic of Congo in the medical field.
That, Ambassador Hisham Abdul Salam Al-Mukwad during the meeting emphasized the importance of continued efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries. The ambassador also explained Egypt’s desire to send a medical convoy to the Democratic Congo to provide some medical services for the benefit of the Congolese people.
On his part, the Congolese minister promised to start preparations for the convoy, citing historical Egyptian-Congolese relations that have been seeing noticeable developments in various fields during the recent period, especially in the health sector.
At the end of the meeting, the Egyptian ambassador handed over the Congolese minister an invitation to attend the second Africa Health ExCon conference scheduled to be held from June 6 to 11, 2023 in Cairo.Translated from Arabic
