واستهل وزير السياحة والآثار الاجتماع بتقديم الشكر للبنك الأهلى المصري على الدعم الذي يقدمه للآثار المصرية، حيث يعد البنك أول جهة في مصر تحرص على رعاية الآثار المصرية. وتعد رعايته للاحتفالية التي أقامتها الوزارة بالمتحف القومي للحضارة المصرية مساء يوم السبت الماضي للاحتفال بيوم التراث العالمي الذي يوافق ١٨ أبريل من كل عام والانتهاء من وضع المومياوات الملكية داخل فتارين العرض الخاصة بها بقاعة المومياوات، هي الرعاية الثانية المتكاملة للبنك حيث قام برعاية مشروعات لتطوير الخدمات ببعض المواقع الأثرية، مثل تلك التي بمعابد الكرنك بالاقصر وأبو سمبل وفيلة بأسوان، بالإضافة الي عدد آخر من الرعايات التي قدمها مثل رعاية عدد من الاكتشافات الأثرية.
وخلال الاجتماع تم الموافقة على تشغيل نظام شرح المرشدين السياحيين بالسماعات للحفاظ علي الهدوء داخل المتحف وعدم تداخل أصوات المرشدين بعضهم ببعض، وذلك وفقا للمعمول به بالمتاحف الكبرى بالمجلس الأعلى للآثار على أن يكون سعر تذكرة السماعة 30 جنيه، بالاضافة الى الموافقة على عدم السماح بالشرح داخل قاعة المومياوات سواء بسماعة أو بدون سماعة.
كما تم الموافقة على السماح باستمرار سريان تصريح الزيارة المجانية للمتحف للفئات المستحقة فقط خلال أيام الأسبوع من الأحد إلى الخميس أثناء مواعيد العمل الرسمية وذلك دون عطلات نهاية الأسبوع والعطلات الرسمية.
وتم الموافقة أيضا على السماح بصلاحية تذكرة دخول المتحف لمدة ٣ شهور من تاريخ شرائها على أن تستخدم لمرة واحدة فقط.
وفي إطار الدعاية والترويج للمتحف وافق مجلس الادارة على إقامة مطعم مفتوح بالساحة الخارجية أمام المطعم الرئيسي بالمتحف لتقديم وجبات الافطار والسحور خلال شهر رمضان المبارك مع الالتزام بتطبيق كافة الإجراءات الاحترازية المقررة.
This afternoon, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, headed by Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, was held at the museum’s headquarters in Fustat.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities began the meeting by thanking the National Bank of Egypt for the support provided to Egyptian antiquities, as the bank is the first entity in Egypt to care for Egyptian antiquities. His sponsorship of the celebration that the Ministry held at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization last Saturday evening to celebrate the World Heritage Day that falls on April 18 of each year and the completion of placing the royal mummies inside the two display rooms of their mummies hall is the second integrated sponsorship of the bank as it sponsored projects to develop services with some Archaeological sites, such as those in the temples of Karnak in Luxor and Abu Simbel and Philae in Aswan, in addition to a number of other patronage such as the sponsorship of a number of archaeological discoveries.
During the meeting, it was agreed to operate a system for explaining tour guides with headphones to maintain calm inside the museum and not to interfere with the guides’ voices, according to what is in force in major museums of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, provided that the price of the headset ticket is 30 pounds, in addition to agreeing not to allow explanations inside the Mummies halls, either with or without a stethoscope.
It was also agreed to allow the free pass to visit the museum for eligible groups only during the weekdays from Sunday to Thursday during the official working hours, without weekends and public holidays.
It was also agreed to allow the museum entry ticket to be valid for a period of 3 months from the date of its purchase, provided that it is used only once.
