اختارت سفارة أيرلندا بالقاهرة منطقة أهرامات الجيزة للاحتفال بالعيد القومي لدولة أيرلندا، حيث قامت السفارة بتصوير فيلم قصير لعرض موسيقي من التراث الإيرلندي عزفه العازف الأيرلندي Micheál Ó hIarlaithe بالمنطقة، وذلك بحضور السفير Seán O’Regan سفير دولة أيرلندا في القاهرة حيث استقبالهم السيد أشرف محي الدين مدير عام المنطقة.
وسوف تقوم السفارة بنشر هذا الفيلم في برنامج خاص سيتم إذاعته وبثه عبر التليفزيون الوطني الإيرلندي يوم 17 من مارس الجاري، كما أنه سيتم بثه على موقع الإنترنت عالمياً ليخاطب 70 مليون مواطن أيرلندي حول العالم.
The Embassy of Ireland chooses the Pyramids of Giza to celebrate Ireland’s National Day
The Embassy of Ireland in Cairo chose the Giza Pyramids to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Ireland’s National Day, where the embassy will film a short movie for a musical performance of Irish heritage played by the Irish musician Micheál Ó hIarlaithe infront of the Pyramids, in the presence of Seán O’Regan, Ambassador of Ireland in Cairo. They were received at the Pyramids by Mr. Ashraf Mohi El-Din the General Manager of the area.
The embassy will publish this short movie in a special program that will be broadcasted on the Irish national television on the 17th of March, and it will also be broadcasted on the Internet globally to address 70 million Irish citizens around the world.
