The Minister of Justice Omar Marwan and the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat opened, today, three advanced notarization offices, including in Dandy Mega Mall and Dolphin Mall in Giza, and the 6th of October 2 office, in the presence of Governor of Giza Ahmed Rashed.
The 6th of October 2 Office has been moved from the 6th District in the 6th of October City to October Festival City Mall in North Extensions. The office has an evening shift (05:00-09:00 PM), bringing the total number of evening-shift offices to 98. Starting today, the evening shift is available in all three offices.
The Minister of Justice remarked that the three offices have been opened in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on facilitating the access of citizens to notarization services by making available an evening shift to meet the needs and schedules of different segments of society. Marwan valued the productive cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in fulfilling the Ministry of Justice’s vision for expanding geographical reach and adopting technology in real estate registration and notarization offices.
The vision involves automating, developing, and linking offices with other agencies through the real estate registration and notarization e-portal, which makes available a large number of services, offering citizens a seamless experience. The real estate registration and notarization system is also optimized in line with the national efforts for achieving digital transformation.
For his part, the ICT Minister highlighted that opening the three offices reflect Egypt’s keenness on rendering advanced, high quality services to citizens. He added that the two ministries cooperate in implementing the notarization services system national project.
The total number of automated notarization offices has reached 517, Talaat revealed, adding that there are currently 11 advanced offices, with more being established to facilitate citizens’ access to services. Citizens can now obtain services at the branch and time of preference through appointments booked on the Digital Egypt Platform or the mobile application “أرغب في عمل توكيل” (I would like to get a power of attorney).
