Egypt’s tourism sector has undergone dedicated efforts to increase eco-tourism, preserve protected areas, and restore natural ecosystems that reside in or alongside touristic areas. This COP27Science side event advocates for global national tourism policies to center sustainability, protect biodiversity, and prioritize engagement among member states of the One Planet Network.

شهد قطاع السياحة في مصر جهودًا كبيرة لزيادة السياحة البيئية والحفاظ على المحميات واستعادة النظم البيئية الطبيعية الموجودة في المناطق السياحية أو بجانبها، وهو نفس ما دعت إليه هذه الجلسة، وكذلك دعوة الدول السياحية في العالم إلى حماية التنوع البيولوجي والتركيز على السياحة المستدامة.
