H.E. Dr. Yasmine Fouad attended a meeting with Swedish environment officials this afternoon to discuss ongoing COP27 negotiations and to renew commitments of cooperation on climate action between the two governments. Dr. Fouad spoke about Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy, which defines ambitious and implementable actions in Egypt’s ongoing efforts to mitigate emissions, accelerate adaptation efforts, and develop economic activities in line with sustainability goals.
عقد اليوم بالمنطقة الزرقاء اجتماع ثنائي، جمع بين الدكتورة ياسمين فؤاد، وزيرة البيئة المصرية، ومسؤولي البيئة السويديين، لمناقشة مفاوضات COP27 الجارية ولتجديد التزامات التعاون في العمل المناخي بين الحكومتين.
وخلال الاجتماع، تحدثت الدكتورة ياسمين فؤاد عن استراتيجية التنمية المستدامة في مصر، والإجراءات القابلة للتنفيذ كجزء من جهود مصر المستمرة للتخفيف من الانبعاثات وتسريع التكيف.
