التقى الدكتور خالد العناني، وزير السياحة والآثار مع مديري المعاهد الأجنبية بالقاهرة، بالمتحف المصري الكبير، وذلك لبحث سبل التعاون المشترك في مجال العمل العلمي والأثري عامة وتلك المعنية بالمتحف المصري الكبير خاصة.
حضر الاجتماع اللواء عاطف مفتاح المشرف العام على مشروع المتحف المصري الكبير والمنطقة المحيطة به، والدكتور مصطفى وزيري الأمين العام للمجلس الأعلى للآثار، والدكتور الطيب عباس مساعد الوزير للشئون الاثرية، والدكتور هشام الليثي رئيس مركز تسجيل الآثار بالوزارة، كما ضم الاجتماع عدد من مديري المعاهد الأجنبية، ومنها المعهد الألماني، والهولندي، والفرنسي، والبولندي، والسويسري، والإيطالي، بالاضافة إلى مدير مركز البحوث الأمريكي.
وقبل الاجتماع اصطحب الدكتور الطيب عباس مديري المعاهد في جولة تفقدية للمتحف وقاعاته المختلفة حيث شهدوا آخر ما تم انجازه من أعمال، وكافة التجهيزات التى تقوم بها الوزارة استعدادا لافتتاحه في عام ٢٠٢١.
وأوضح د. هشام الليثي أن الاجتماع جاء لبحث سبل التعاون الحالية والمستقبلية وتطوير العلاقات بين الوزارة وتلك المعاهد، بما يعود بالنفع على الآثار المصرية والحفاظ عليها، حيث تحرص الوزارة دائما على التواصل مع جميع المؤسسات العلمية، للنهوض بالعمل الأثري في مصر.
وأضاف أنه تم الاتفاق على تنظيم عدد من الدورات التدريبية للآثاريين والمرممين العاملين بالوزارة لرفع المستوى العلمي والمهني لهم وتبادل الخبرات مع مختلف دول العالم، هذا بالاضافة إلى تعزيز التعاون المشترك لكتابة ومراجعة البطاقات التعريفية للقطع الأثرية التي سيتم عرضها بالمتحف المصري الكبير.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities meets with the directors of international archaeological institutes in Cairo
Dr. Khaled El Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, met with directors of of international archaeological institutes in Cairo, at the Grand Egyptian Museum. The meeting discussed ways of cooperation in the field of scientific and archaeological work in general and for the Grand Egyptian Museum in particular.
The meeting was attended by Major General Atef Moftah, Supervisor of the Grand Egyptian Museum project and the surrounding area, Dr. Mostafa Waziry, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Dr. Al Tayeb Abbas, Assistant Minister for Archaeological Affairs of the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Dr. Hisham Al Laithy, Head of the Antiquities Registration Center at the Ministry. The meeting included the directors of the German, Dutch, French, Polish, Swiss and Italian institutes, in addition to the director of the American Research Center.
Before the meeting, Dr. Al-Tayeb Abbas accompanied the directors of the institutes on visit of the museum and its galleries, where they saw the latest progress of work and the preparations for its opening in 2021.
Dr. Hisham Al-Laithy said that the meeting discussed current and future ways of cooperation and to develop relations between the ministry and those institutes, in a way that benefits and preserves Egyptian antiquities. He added that the ministry is always keen to communicate with all scientific institutions, to promote archaeological work in Egypt.
He said that it was agreed to organize a number of training courses for archaeologists and conservators working in the ministry to improve their scientific and professional knowledge and exchange experiences with various countries. In addition to strengthening cooperation for writing and reviewing the labels of the artifacts displayed at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
