التقى اليوم الدكتور خالد العناني وزير السياحة والآثار بعدد من أعضاء الوفد الحكومي الصربي برئاسة السيد ايجور ميروفيتش حاكم إقليم”فويفودينا” بجمهورية صربيا والذي يضم ممثلين عن قطاعات السياحة والاقتصاد والصناعة والتجارة في صربيا، وذلك خلال زيارتهم الحالية لمصر، حيث حضر اللقاء السيد Jugoslav Vukadinovic سفير صربيا في القاهرة، والأستاذة غادة شلبي نائب الوزير لشئون السياحة، والسيد أحمد يوسف الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة المصرية العامة للتنشيط السياحي.
وقد تم خلال اللقاء مناقشة سبل تعزيز التعاون السياحي والأثري بين البلدين وزيادة حركة السياحة الوافدة لمصر من صربيا.
واستهل الدكتور خالد العناني اللقاء بالترحيب بالوفد في مصر، والتأكيد على أهمية السوق السياحي الصربي باعتباره أحد أهم الأسواق السياحية المصدرة للسياحة لمصر، حيث أنها تعتبر من العشرين دولة الأوائل المصدرة للسياحة إلي مصر.
وأشار الوزير إلى أن الحركة السياحية الوافدة من صربيا لمصر تشهد زيادة ملحوظة، لافتاً إلى أن صربيا كانت من أوائل الدول التي جاء سائحيها لمصر منذ استنئاف الحركة الوافدة إليها في يوليو الماضي وهو ما يؤكد على ثقة دولة صربيا في الإجراءات الاحترازية وضوابط السلامة الصحية التى تطبقها مصر وما يعكس أيضاً حرص السائح الصربي على زيارة المقصد السياحي المصري والتمتع بتجربة سياحية آمنة به.
وأكد الوزير على عمق العلاقات بين البلدين على المستويين الرسمي والشعبي والتى تشهد تعاوناً في مجالات عديدة منها مجال السياحة والآثار، مشيراً إلى أهمية توطيد هذه العلاقات خلال الفترة المقبلة.
وتحدث الوزير عن الجهود التي تبذلها الدولة المصرية لدعم القطاع السياحي من تداعيات أزمة فيروس كورونا لضمان سلامة العاملين بالقطاع والمواطنين والسائحين، ومنها التدابير التي تم اتخاذها لمواجهة هذه الأزمة من اجراءات احترازية وضوابط السلامة الصحية.
وأوضح أن مصر تقوم بتحديث هذه الاجراءات والضوابط أولا بأول في كافة مطاراتها وفنادقها ومنتجعاتها وأماكنها السياحية والمتاحف والمواقع الأثرية بشكل منتظم ودوري وفقاً للتطورات المستمرة لتداعيات أزمة كورونا عالمياً.
وأضاف أن الدولة المصرية أعطت أولوية كبيرة لتطعيم العاملين بقطاع السياحة باللقاحات المضادة للفيروس، مشيراً إلى أنه سوف يتم خلال أيام الإعلان رسمياً عن الانتهاء من تطعيم العاملين بمحافظتى جنوب سيناء والبحر الأحمر، لافتاً إلى أنه سيتم البدء بعد ذلك فى تطعيم العاملين بمحافظات القاهرة والجيزة والأقصر وأسوان.
كما تطرق اللقاء مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات الهامة والتي من بينها أعمال اللجنة المصرية الصربية المشتركة بين البلدين والتي ستشهد إطار أوسع لمناقشة سبل التعاون المشتركة بين البلدين.
ومن جانبه، قدم السيد ايجور ميروفيتش حاكم إقليم”فويفودينا” بجمهورية صربيا الشكر للسيد الوزير على هذا اللقاء الهام، معرباً عن رغبة بلاده فى تعزيز سبل التعاون بين البلدين وخاصة في مجالات السياحة والثقافة حيث أن إقليم”فويفودينا” يعتبر إقليمياً ثقافياً رئيسياً فى جمهورية صربيا، ومن جانبه، أشار الوزير إلى إمكانية تنظيم أحداث سياحية وثقافية بين البلدين بالتعاون مع وزارة الثقافة المصرية.
وتحدث السيد ايجور ميروفيتش عن مشاركة مصر الناجحة كضيف شرف العام الماضي فى المعرض السياحي الصربي، مقدماً الدعوة للسيد الوزير لزيارة دولة صربيا والمشاركة في الدورة القادمة للمعرض، ومن جانبه، أبدى الوزير عن ترحيبه بهذه الدعوة.
وخلال اللقاء، أشار أعضاء الوفد إلى أن مصر من أهم المقاصد السياحية المفضلة لدى السائح الصربي وخاصة في ظل شغفه بالشواطئ المصرية الخلابة على ساحل البحر الأحمر، مشيدين بأهمية الخطوة التى اتخذتها مصر نحو تطعيم العاملين بالقطاع السياحي بها.
وفي نهاية اللقاء، تبادلا الوزير والسيد ايجور ميروفيتش الهدايا التذكارية، حيث قدم له الوزير مستنسخاً أثرياً.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities meets A Serbian government delegation.
Today, Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, met with a Serbian government delegation headed by Mr. Igor Mirovic, Governor of “Vojvodina” province of the Republic of Serbia. The delegation includes representatives of tourism, economy, industry, and trade sectors in Serbia.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Jugoslav Vukadinovic, Ambassador Serbia in Cairo, Mrs. Ghada Shalaby, Vice Minister for Tourism Affairs, and Mr. Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board.
During the meeting, they discussed enhancing tourism and archaeological cooperation between the two countries and increasing inbound tourism from Serbia.
Dr. Khaled El-Enany said that Serbia is one of the top twenty countries sending tourists to Egypt and that the number of Serbian tourists is witnessing a noticeable increase. He added that Serbia was one of the first countries whose tourists came to Egypt after the resumption of inbound tourism last July. He said that this confirms the confidence of Serbia in the precautionary measures and hygiene safety regulations applied in Egypt.
The minister emphasized the depth of relations between the two countries and that they are witnessing cooperation plans in many fields.
The minister talked about the efforts made by the Egyptian state to support the tourism sector from the repercussions of the Coronavirus crisis to ensure the safety of workers in the sector, citizens, and tourists.
He explained that Egypt is updating these procedures and regulations regularly.
He added that Egypt has given high priority to vaccinating workers in the tourism sector against Coronavirus. He said that the first phase of vaccination of workers in the tourism sector in South Sinai and the Red Sea governorates will be completed within the coming days, then the second phase of vaccination in the governorates of Cairo, Giza, Luxor, and Aswan will begin.
The meeting also discussed a number of important issues, including the work of the joint Egyptian-Serbian committee, which will witness a broader framework for cooperation.
The Governor of the “Vojvodina” expressed his country’s desire to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of tourism and culture, as the region of “Vojvodina” is considered a major cultural hub in the Republic of Serbia.
In that respect, the Minister referred to the possibility of organizing tourism and cultural events between the two countries in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.
Mr. Igor Mirovic talked about Egypt’s successful participation as a guest of honor last year in the Serbian Tourism Exhibition and extended an invitation to the Minister to visit Serbia and participate in the next edition of the exhibition.
During the meeting, the members of the delegation said that Egypt is one of the most important tourist destinations preferred by the Serbian tourist, especially Egypt’s picturesque beaches on the Red Sea coast, praising the vaccination of workers in the tourism sector.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister and Mr. Igor Mirovic exchanged souvenirs. The Minister presented him with an archeological replica.
