ويعقد لقاءات ثنائية مع بعض نظرائه من وزراء السياحة العرب لتعزيز سبل التعاون في مجال السياحة والآثار
خلال مشاركته اليوم في قمة “انعاش السياحة” التى أقيمت في إطار انعقاد الاجتماع ال 47 للجنة الإقليمية للشرق الأوسط التابعة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية والمُقامة حاليا بمدينة الرياض بالمملكة العربية السعودية خلال يومي 26 و 27 من مايو الجاري، استهل الدكتور خالد العناني وزير السياحة والآثار لقاءاته الرسمية بلقاء صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سلطان بن سلمان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود المستشار الخاص لخادم الحرمين الشريفين ورئيس مجلس أمناء مؤسسة الملك سلمان غير الربحية، حيث قام الوزير بتهنئة صاحب السمو لتعيينه عضواً بمجلس أمناء هيئة المتحف المصري الكبير وفقاً للقرار الذي أصدره فخامة رئيس الجمهورية الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي.
ومن جانبه، وجه صاحب السمو الملكي الشكر للدكتور خالد العناني، معرباً عن تقديره لهذا القرار المصري بتعيينه عضوا بمجلس أمناء هيئة المتحف المصري الكبير.
وفي سياق متصل، عقد الدكتور خالد العناني عدد من اللقاءات الثنائية مع بعض نظرائه من وزراء السياحة العرب، حيث التقى بمعالي الأستاذ أحمد الخطيب وزير السياحة بالمملكة العربية السعودية، والدكتور أحمد بالهول الفلاسي وزير دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة لريادة الأعمال والمشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة والمُكلف بملف السياحة بالدولة، والدكتور حسن ناظم وزير الثقافة والسياحة والآثار بدولة العراق، والسيد نايف الفايز وزير السياحة والآثار بالمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، وذلك لتعزيز سبل التعاون المشترك بين مصر وهذه الدول على المستوى السياحى والأثري وتنشيط حركة السياحة.
وخلال لقائه بوزير السياحة السعودي، وجه الدكتور خالد العناني الشكر لوزير السياحة السعودي على تلبيته الدعوة لحضور موكب المومياوات الملكية الذي أُقيم في أبريل الماضي.
ومن جانبه، رحب وزير السياحة السعودي بالدكتور خالد العناني، مشيدا بالعلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، ومعربا عن تطلعه لإقامة برامج سياحية مشتركة بين البلدين.
وخلال اللقاء، أشاد الدكتور خالد العناني بالمشروعات التنموية التي تشهدها المملكة العربية السعودية ولاسيما في المجال السياحي، مؤكدا على أن المملكة العربية السعودية تعد أحد الأسواق السياحية الهامة المصدرة للسياحة لمصر، متطلعا لزيادة الحركة السياحية الوافدة إلى مصر من السوق العربية ولاسيما مع الفتح التدريجي للسفر في العديد من الدول العربية، ومشيرا إلى أن مصر ترحب بالسائحين العرب في بلدهم الثاني مصر، لافتا على أن مصر تعد مقصداً هاماً لهم لأسباب كثيرة من أهمها قرب المسافة ووحدة اللغة وتقارب الثقافات.
وخلال لقاء وزير دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة لريادة الأعمال والمشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة والمُكلف بملف السياحة بالدولة، تم الحديث عن مشاركة مصر في معرض اكسبو دبي ٢٠٢٠ والذي من المقرر افتتاحه في شهر أكتوبر 2021 وسيستمر لمدة ٦ أشهر.
وخلال اللقاء مع وزير الثقافة والسياحة والآثار العراقي تم مناقشة آليات الاستفادة وتبادل خبرات الآثاريين والمرممين في البلدين، بالإضافة إلى التعاون على استرداد الآثار المسروقة والمهربة خارج البلاد بطريقة غير شرعية.
كما تم مناقشة التعاون بين البلدين في مجال السياحة والآثار مع وزير السياحة والآثار الأردني.
وقد حضر هذه اللقاءات السفير أحمد فاروق سفير مصر بالمملكة العربية السعودية، والأستاذة يمنى البحار مساعد وزير السياحة والآثار المصري للشئون الفنية، والمستشار عبد المحسن شافعي المُشرف على الإدارة المركزية للعلاقات العامة والدولية بوزارة السياحة والآثار المصرية.
The Minister meets HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and holds bilateral meetings with his counterparts in Arab nations
During his participation in the “Tourism Recovery” summit held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within the framework of the 47th meeting of the Regional Committee for the Middle East of the World Tourism Organization, held in Riyadh, on 26 and 27 May, Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, met His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Special Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the non-profit King Salman Foundation. The Minister congratulated HRH on his appointment as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Grand Egyptian Museum by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
HRH thanked the Minister expressing his appreciation for being a member of the Board of Trustees of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
In a related context, Dr. Khaled El-Enany held a number of bilateral meetings with his counterparts in Arab nations. He met with HE Mr. Ahmed Al-Khatib, Minister of Tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of the United Arab Emirates for Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises in charge of tourism, Dr. Hassan Nazim, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities in Iraq, and Mr. Nayef Al-Fayez, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The meetings discussed enhancing mutual cooperation between Egypt and these countries in tourism and archaeology.
During his meeting with the Saudi Minister of Tourism, Dr. Khaled El-Enany During the meeting, praised the development projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially in the field of tourism. He said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the important markets exporting tourism to Egypt. He added that he is looking forward to increasing inbound tourism to Egypt from Arab countries, especially with the gradual opening of travel in many of them. He said that Egypt always welcomes Arab tourists. He added that Egypt is an important destination for them for many reasons, the most important of which are proximity, unity of language and culture.
The Saudi Minister of Tourism praised the bilateral relations between the two countries, and expressed his aspiration to establish joint tourism programs between the two countries.
During a meeting with the Minister of the United Arab Emirates for Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises, Dr El-Enany talked about Egypt’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, which is scheduled to open in October 2021 and will last for 6 months.
With the Iraqi Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, the meeting discussed exchanging experiences between archaeologists and restorers in the two countries, in addition to cooperation in repatriation of stolen antiquities.
Dr El-Enany also discussed joint cooperation with the Jordanian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities.
These meetings were attended by Ambassador Ahmed Farouk, Egypt’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ms Yomna Al-Bahar, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Technical Affairs, and Mr Abdel Mohsen Shafei, Supervisor of the Central Administration for Public and International Relations at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
