التقى الدكتور خالد العناني وزير السياحة والآثار، اليوم الجمعة، بعدد من أعضاء غرفة الغوص والأنشطة البحرية، بحضور السيد هشام جبر رئيس الغرفة، والدكتور مصطفى وزيري الأمين العام للمجلس الأعلى للآثار، وذلك لمناقشة أوجه التعاون بين الوزارة والغرفة خلال الفترة المقبلة لتطوير قطاع الغوص والأنشطة البحرية بما يساهم في الحفاظ على البيئة وتحقيق التنمية السياحية المستدامة.
وتطرق اللقاء إلى مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات التي من شأنها أن تساهم في الارتقاء بمنظومة العمل في مجال الغوص والأنشطة البحرية، والضوابط المنظمة للعمل به والتي تضمن سلامة البيئة البحرية واتباع الارشادات السليمة ومنع الممارسات الخاطئة مع السائح والحياة البحرية، وخاصة في ظل تميز مصر عالمياً في هذا المجال.
وخلال اللقاء، أكد الوزير على أهمية التزام مراكز الغوص والأنشطة البحرية في المقاصد السياحية المختلفة باشتراطات وضوابط التراخيص المقررة، بالإضافة الي الالتزام بتنفيذ كافة الإجراءات الاحترازية والوقائية وضوابط السلامة الصحية لحماية العاملين بها والزائرين.
كما تم بحث بعض المشكلات التي تواجههم ومناقشة عدد من الحلول لها.
ومن جانبهم، قدم أعضاء الغرفة عرضاً تقديمياً عن الجهود التي تبذلها الغرفة لتيسير إجراءات العمل في هذا المجال، واستعراض طرق الوصول للسائحين الذين يفضلون ممارسة هذه الأنشطة ولا سيما من خلال ما يقدمه الموقع الإلكتروني الخاص بالغرفة، والذي سيتم تدشينه رسميا قريبا، حيث يتيح الموقع جميع المعلومات الخاصة بالأنشطة البحرية في مصر وأماكن ممارستها، كما تقدم الغرفة فرصة لتدريب السائحين على الغطس من خلال مجموعة من الغطاسين المهرة ذو الخبرة العالية.
كما تم استعراض عدد من الجوائز والمواقع المتميزة التي احتلتها مصر عالميا في مجال الغوص، حيث حصلت شواطئ البحر الأحمر فى أعوام ٢٠٠٨ و ٢٠٠٩ و ٢٠١٠ من خلال استطلاعات الرأى فى السوق الانجليزى على المركز الأول فى رياضة الغوص والأنشطة البحرية، كما حصلت فى عام ٢٠١٥ على المركز الثانى، كما تنافس مصر هذا العام على المركز الثانى أيضا.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن قطاع الأنشطة السياحية والمكاتب الداخلية بالوزارة قد قام منذ أيام بإيفاد لجان للمرور والتفتيش على مراكز الغوص ومراكز الأنشطة البحرية بمحافظة جنوب سيناء، وذلك في ضوء الدور الرقابي لوزارة السياحة والآثار على المنشآت السياحية والفندقية ومراكز الغوص والانشطة البحرية.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities meets with members of the Diving Chamber and Marine Activities in Sharm El-Sheikh
Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, met today, with members of the Diving and Marine Activities Chamber, in the presence of Mr. Hisham Gaber, head of the Chamber, and Dr. Mustafa Waziry, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities. They discussed cooperation between the Ministry and the Chamber during the upcoming period to develop the diving sector and marine activities in a way that preserves the environment and promotes sustainable tourism.
The meeting also discussed a number of topics that would contribute to the improvement of the system of work in the field of diving and marine activities. In addition to the rules regulating work in it, to ensure the safety of the marine environment and urge people to follow the correct instructions to prevent wrong practices that affect marine life. This is in light of Egypt’s uniqueness in this field globally.
During the meeting, the Minister stressed the importance of the diving centers and marine activities in the various tourist destinations adhering to the requirements and controls of their licenses. In addition to the commitment to implementing hygiene safety measures to protect workers and visitors.
Some of the problems the chamber is facing were discussed and their solutions were also discussed.
Members of the Chamber gave a presentation on their efforts to facilitate work in the field. They also presented ways of reaching out to tourists interested in diving and talked about the Chamber’s new website, that will be officially launched soon. They explained that this website contains all the Information on marine activities in Egypt and their places of practice. They added that the chamber also provides training of tourists on diving through a group of skilled and highly experienced divers.
In addition to that, they showcased a number of awards and distinguished positions that Egypt has received internationally in the field of diving; in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2015; the beaches of the Red Sea obtained first place in diving and marine activities through opinion polls in the English market and Egypt competes this year for the second place as well.
It should be noted that the tourism activities sector and the internal offices of the ministry have, a few days ago, dispatched committees to inspect diving centers and marine activities centers in South Sinai Governorate, in light of the supervisory role of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on tourism and hotel facilities, diving centers and marine activities.
