بعد افتتاح مشروع تطوير المنطقة المحيطة بكنيسة العذراء مريم بسخا بمحافظة كفر الشيخ والتي تعد النقطة الثانية في مسار العائلة المقدسة، توجه الدكتور خالد العناني وزير السياحة والآثار، واللواء محمود شعراوي وزير التنمية المحلية، إلى محافظة الشرقية لافتتاح مشروع تطوير موقع تل بسطة بالشرقية أحد نقاط مسار العائلة المقدسة، حيث استقبلهم الدكتور ممدوح غراب محافظ الشرقية.
يأتي ذلك بحضور الاستاذة غادة شلبي نائب وزير السياحة والآثار لشئون السياحة، والدكتور أسامة طلعت رئيس قطاع الآثار الإسلامية والقبطية واليهودية بالمجلس الأعلى للآثار، والاستاذ أحمد عبيد مساعد وزير السياحة والاثار لقطاع مكتب الوزير، والاستاذة يمني البحار مساعد وزير السياحة والاثار للشئون الفنية، والأستاذة إيمان زيدان مساعد وزير السياحة والاثار لتطوير المتاحف والمواقع الاثرية، والأستاذ عادل الجندي مدير عام الإدارة العامة للإدارة الاستراتيجية بوزارة السياحة والآثار.
وخلال الزيارة أشار الدكتور خالد العناني إلى أنه يشعر بسعادة لأنه في موطنه الأصلي، مشيرا إلى أن تل بسطا هي أيقونة العائلة المقدسة، وان لتل بسطا جانب روحاني لارتباطها بمسار العائلة المقدسة وهي أول نقاط دخول العائلة المقدسة إلى مصر.
كما توجه بالشكر لوزير التنمية المحلية ومحافظ الشرقية والعاملين بوزارة السياحة والآثار على الجهد المبذول في جميع أعمال التطوير.
وأضاف الوزير أنه تم صباح اليوم افتتاح مشروع تطوير المنطقة المحيطة بكنيسة العذراء مريم بسخا بمحافظة كفر الشيخ، مشيرا إلى أن عام 2021 يعد عاما مميزا حيث سيتم خلاله جني ثمار ما تم من أعمال في مسار العائلة المقدسة خلال العامين الماضيين، لافتا الي أنه افتتح حينما كان وزيرا للآثار فقط العديد من المواقع الأثرية علي المسار بعد الانتهاء من ترميمها واليوم وهو وزيرا للسياحة والآثار معا يحرص على الاهتمام بالشق السياحي والأثري، موضحا أن عام ٢٠٢١ سيشهد افتتاحات لمواقع عديدة علي المسار بعد ترميمها وتطوير المنطقة المحيطة بها من بينها مواقع بالمطرية ومحافظة أسيوط وجبل الطير بالمنيا وغيرها.
وأكد الوزير على أن محافظة الشرقية لديها العديد من المقومات السياحية والأثرية التي تساهم في وضعها على الخريطة السياحية.
وأشار الأستاذ عادل الجندي إلى أن أهمية موقع تل بسطة بمحافظة الشرقية تأتي لاحتوائه على موقع البئر الذي مرت به العائلة المقدسة والذي يقع وسط منطقة أثرية تحيط بالبئر، لافتا إلى أن افتتاح مشروع تطوير موقع تل بسطة بالشرقية يأتي ضمن سلسلة الافتتاحات التي تقوم بها الوزارة والتي بدأت بافتتاح أعمال تطوير موقع سمنود بمحافظة الغربية كأول نقطة يتم تأهيلها بنسبة 100%.
وأضاف أن تطوير مواقع مسار العائلة المقدسة لا يشمل فقط تطوير الموقع الأثري ولكن يمتد الى المحيط العمراني الأشمل والذي يضمن تحسين المناخ السياحي ويوفر الفرصة لدى المجتمع المحلي للتفاعل مع الانشطة السياحية.
وأوضح أنه تم الانتهاء من تنفيذ مجموعة من اللوحات الارشادية للقادم من مواقع المسار بالقاهرة الكبرى جنوبا واخرى داخل مدينة الزقازيق، ولافتات ارشادية تقود الى مواقع المسار بمنطقة الدلتا وشرق بورسعيد تحقيقا لخلق المتصل السياحي الكامل الذي يمتد بطول 3500 كم بدأ من رفح شرق البلاد مرورا بباقي نقاط المسار بالدلتا والقاهرة الكبرى ووادي النطرون ووصولا الي وسط مصر عند المنيا وأسيوط بإجمالي حوالي 25 نقطة، لافتا إلى أن جميع اللافتات تحمل شعار العائلة المقدسة الذي قامت بتصميمه وزارة السياحة والآثار بالتعاون مع مجموعة العمل.
كما أشار إلى أن أعمال التطوير شهدت أيضا زراعة أشجار النخيل المثمر في محيط الموقع الأثري وتنفيذ مجموعة من اللافتات الدعائية السياحية والأثرية التي تسرد محتويات الموقع، بالإضافة الي تركيب البرجولات والمظلات وتجديد دورات المياه وإعادة تجهيز قاعة العرض الداخلية بمكونات تكنولوجية متطورة لعرض محتويات الموقع الأثري، كما شملت أعمال التطوير إعداد لوحات معلوماتية سياحية وأثرية عن تاريخ الموقع وأخرى ارشادية لتحديد مسار الزيارة داخل الموقع الأثري، كما تم بناء سور جديد للحفاظ على الموقع الاثري من التعديات وتم تحديث قاعة العرض المتحفي للموقع.
وعلى هامش الزيارة افتتح وزير السياحة والآثار معرض تراث مصر، حيث قام بجولة داخل المعرض تفقد خلالها الحرف التراثية الموجودة بالمعرض.
وقالت الأستاذة إيمان زيدان أن هذا المعرض يأتي في إطار العمل على استراتيجية التنمية المستدامة مصر ٢٠٣٠، لتنمية الابتكار والإبداع للصناعات التقليدية والتراثية والسياحية، ودعم وتمكين رواد الأعمال من أرباب الحرف والمشروعات المتوسطة والصغيرة.
وأضافت ان وزارة السياحة والآثار تعمل على دعم وتمكين أصحاب الحرف اليدوية والصناعات الإبداعية بشكل فعال من خلال حزمة من الإجراءات التي تهدف إلي دعم وتنمية القطاع، ولذلك تقوم الوزارة بتنظيم سلسلة معارض تراث مصر التي تقام في المواقع الأثرية والمتاحف، وكذلك على هامش الفعاليات والمؤتمرات المحلية والدولية التي تنظمها الوزارة، تماشياً مع استراتيجية الوزارة التى تهدف إلي تحسين نوع وجودة الخدمات بالمواقع الأثرية والمتاحف لتشجيع المنتج المصري وأرباب الحرف لإحياء الصناعات التقليدية والتراثية.

Inaugurating the development project of Tel Basta site in Sharkia
After the inauguration of the project to develop the area surrounding the Church of the Virgin Mary in Sakha, Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, which is the second point in the path of the Holy Family journey in Egypt, Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Major General Mahmoud Shaarawi, Minister of Local Development, opened the develop project of Tel Basta site in Sharkia Governorate, one of the eastern points on the path of the Holy Family journey. The Ministers were received by Dr. Mamdouh Ghurab, Governor of Sharkia.
The event was also attended by Mrs. Ghada Shalaby, Vice Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs, Dr. Osama Talaat, Head of the Islamic, Coptic and Jewish Antiquities Sector at the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Mr. Ebeid, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for the Minister’s Office Sector, and Ms. Yomna Al-Bahar, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Technical Affairs, and Ms. Iman Zidan Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for the Development of Museums and Archaeological Sites, and Mr. Adel Al-Gendi, Director General of the General Administration for Strategic Management at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
During the visit, Dr. Khaled El Enany said that he is happy that he was in his original homeland. He added that Tal Basta is one of the iconic points on the Holy Family Journey in Egypt. He said that there is a spiritual aspect to this place due to its connection to the path of the Holy Family, which is the first entry point of the Holy Family to Egypt.
He thanked the Minister of Local Development, the Governor of Sharkia, and the staff of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities for the effort made in all the development work.
The Minister added that this morning, a project to develop the area surrounding the Church of the Virgin Mary in Sakha in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate was inaugurated, indicating that 2021 is a special year during which the fruits of what has been done in the path of the Holy Family during the past two years will be reaped, pointing out that it was inaugurated when he was only the Minister of Antiquities , as he inaugurated many archaeological sites on the path after the completion of their restoration, and today he is Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and is keen to pay attention to the touristic part as well as the archaeological part, explaining that in 2021 there will be openings of many sites on the path after the restoration and development of the surrounding area, including the sites in Al-Matariyah, Assiut Governorate and Jabal Al-Tair, Minya and others.
The minister emphasized that Sharkia has touristic and archaeological potential that contribute to placing it on the tourism map.
Mr. Adel Al- Gendi pointed out that the importance of the Tel Basta site in the Sharkia governorate comes because it contains the well site that the Holy Family passed through, which is located in the middle of an archaeological area surrounding the well, pointing out that the opening of the Tel Basta site development project in Sharkia comes within the series of inaugurations that the Ministry is undertaking, which began with the development works for the Samanoud site in Gharbia Governorate, as the first point to be fully rehabilitated.
He added that the development of the Holy Family Path sites not only includes the development of the archaeological site, but also extends to the broader urban environment, which guarantees the improvement of the tourist climate and provides the opportunity for the local community to interact with the tourism activities.
He explained that a set of indicative panels had been completed for people coming from the route sites in Greater Cairo in the south and another within the city of Zagazig, and indicative signs leading to the track sites in the Delta region and East Port Said, in order to achieve the creation of the complete tourist connection that extends over a length of 3500 km, starting from Rafah in the east, passing through the rest of the holy family path points in the Delta, Greater Cairo, Wadi El Natroun, and reaching central Egypt at Minya and Assiut, with a total of about 25 points, pointing out that all the signs bear the slogan of the Holy Family, which was designed by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in cooperation with the working team.
He also indicated that the development work also witnessed the cultivation of palm trees in the vicinity of the archaeological site and the implementation of a set of tourist and archaeological advertising signs that list the contents of the site, in addition to the installation of pergolas and umbrellas, the renewal of the toilets and the refitting of the internal exhibition hall with advanced technological components to display the contents of the archaeological site. The development work included preparing tourist and archaeological information panels on the history of the site and other indicative ones to determine the path of the visit inside the archaeological site. A new wall was built to preserve the archaeological site from encroachments, and the museum exhibition hall of the site was modernised.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities also inaugurated the Egyptian Heritage Exhibition, where he toured the exhibition, during which he checked out the traditional crafts in the exhibition.
Mrs. Iman Zidan said that this exhibition comes in line of the sustainable development strategy Egypt 2030, to develop innovation and creativity for traditional, heritage and tourism industries, and to support and empower entrepreneurs from craftsmen and medium and small enterprises.
She added that the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is working to support and empower the owners of handicrafts and creative industries effectively through a package of measures aimed at supporting and developing the sector. Therefore, the Ministry is organising a series of Egyptian heritage exhibitions that are held in archaeological sites and museums, in addition to local and international events and conferences organized by the Ministry, in line with the Ministry’s strategy that aims to improve the type and quality of services at archaeological sites and museums to encourage Egyptian products and craftsmen to revive traditional and heritage industries.
At the end of the visit, the governor gave the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities a souvenir, which is considered to be the Oscar of Sharkia
