About the Citizen Investment Plan in Qalyoubia Governorate, Al-Saeed clarified that the number of development projects in the governorate reaches 355 projects, and that the value of public investments directed to Qalyoubia governorate in the plan of 22/2023 is 10.6 billion pounds.
Regarding the sectoral distribution of public investments targeted in Al-Qalyoubia Governorate with a plan for 22/2023, the report of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development indicated that investments of 6.4 billion pounds were directed to the housing sector at 61%, followed by the higher education and scientific research sector at 870 million pounds at 8%, and the oil and mineral sector at 796 million pounds. 8%, and the local development sector 639.4 million pounds 6%, while the pre-university education sector is 218.1 million pounds 2%, while the other sectors have investments of 1.6 billion pounds 15%.

The report clarified that the most important development targets of the housing sector in Qalyoubia Governorate in Plan 22/2023 are the allocation of about 726.5 million pounds for drinking water and sanitation services, and the most important development projects in the sector, with 46 projects in the implementation of the National Social Housing Program in the province, completing educational services projects, and in the field of development The local area is targeting implementing 190 development projects, and the most important development targets are paving local roads of around 256.4 million pounds.Translated from Arabic
