نجح فريق عمل بحثي من جامعتي Ludwig Maximilian و Tübingen بألمانيا بالتعاون مع المركز القومي للبحوث بالقاهرة، في التوصل إلى طبيعة مواد التحنيط في مصر القديمة.
جاء ذلك من خلال تحليل البقايا العضوية بداخل الأواني الفخارية بورشة التحنيط المكتشفة عام ٢٠١٨ بواسطة البعثة الأثرية المصرية الألمانية برئاسة المرحوم د. رمضان بدري، ضمن مشروع مقابر العصر الصاوي.
Two teams from Ludwig Maximilian and Tübingen Universities in Germany and the National Research Center in Cairo identifed the nature of mummification materials in ancient Egypt.
This is thanks to analyzing organic remains found inside mummification workshop’s utensils discovered in 2018 by the Egyptian-German mission headed by the late Dr. Ramadan Hussein in Saqqara.
The incredible discovery made it to the scientific journal at Nature.
