ينظم متحف الفن الإسلامي بباب الخلق معرضا أثريا مؤقتا بعنوان “داء ودواء” وذلك طوال شهر ديسمبر القادم.
وأوضح الأستاذ مؤمن عثمان رئيس قطاع المتاحف، أن هذا المعرض جاء إيمانًا بدور المتحف التعليمي والتربوي مع الأحداث الجارية لمجابهة فيروس كورونا المستجد، حيث يضم المعرض مجموعة من ٥٠ قطعة أثرية توضح الأدوات الطبية والجراحية من الحضارة الاسلامية، بالاضافة إلى أدوات النظافة والطب البديل مثل مجموعة منتقاه من طاسات الخضة من العصور الإسلامية المختلفة، وإبريق وطست من العصر المملوكي.
ومن جانبه أشار د. ممدوح عثمان مدير عام متحف الفن الإسلامي، أن علوم الطب أزدهرت خلال التاريخ الإسلامي حيث تميز الأطباء، وتقدمت المستشفيات، كما أن العقيدة الإسلامية أكدت على سنن الفطرة السليمة التي تحث على النظافة والصحة والتجمل مما جعلها وقاية وخط دفاع للجسم من الأمراض المختلفة.
وأضاف أنه على هامش المعرض سوف يتم تنطيم عدد من الفعاليات الثقافية والتربوية والتوعوية مثل تنظيم معرض آخر للفن التشكيلي والصور الفوتوغرافية، وإقامت ورش فنية لتعليم الأطفال الرسم الموتيفات المستوحاة من القطع الأثرية بالمتحف ورسمها على الكمامات، كما سيتم تنظيم عرض فني تفاعلي مع جمهور المتحف من الأطفال والشباب عن فيروس كورونا المستجد وطرق الوقاية منه، بالإضافة إلى طرق التخلص الآمن من أدوات الوقاية وإعادة تدوير واستخدام زجاجات الأدوية الفارغة، وذلك بالتعاون مع وزاره البيئة.
ولفت د. عثمان إلى أنه ولأول مرة سوف يتم تنيظم قافلة طبية بالتعاون مع اللجنة النقابية للعاملين بالآثار لخدمة العاملين وزائري المتحف.
An archaeological exhibition of medical and surgical instruments at the Museum of Islamic Art
The Museum of Islamic Art in Bab Al-Khalq is holding a temporary archaeological exhibition called “Disease and Medicine”, throughout the month of December.
Mr. Moamen Othman, Head of the museums sector, explained that this exhibition was created for an educational purpose in line with the current events to confront Corona virus. The exhibition includes a group of 50 artifacts illustrating medical and surgical tools from the Islamic civilization. In addition to hygiene and alternative medicine tools such as a group of “khudah” bowls from different Islamic eras, and some pitchers and bowls from the Mamluk era.
Dr. Mamdouh Othman, General Director of the Museum of Islamic Art, said that the medical sciences flourished during Islamic history, as doctors were distinguished, hospitals were advanced, and the Islamic faith always encouraged cleanliness, which made it easy for the body to protect itself from various diseases.
He added that, on the sidelines of the exhibition, a number of cultural, educational and awareness-raising activities will be organized, such as organizing another exhibition of plastic art and photographs; artistic workshops to teach children to draw motifs inspired by artifacts in the museum and draw them on face masks, and an interactive artistic presentation will be organized in coordination with the museum about the emerging corona virus and ways to prevent it. In addition to methods of safe disposal of facemasks and gloves, recycling and use of empty medicine bottles, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment.
Dr. Othman indicated that for the first time, a medical caravan will be organized in cooperation with the Trade Union Committee for Antiquities Workers to serve workers and museum visitors.
