وقد استمتع السائحون بزيارة أهرامات الجيزة، وقام الوفد بتناول الغذاء بمطعم “ناين بيراميدز لاونج” الذي تم افتتاحه أول أمس بمنطقة البانوراما.وأوضح أشرف محي الدين مدير عام منطقة أهرامات الجيزة، أن السائحون أعربوا عن إعجابهم وبعظمة الحضارة المصرية القديمة وبالأهرامات وتمثال أبو الهول، و حرصوا على التوجه إلى منطقة البانوراما لالتقاط الصور التذكارية.
مشيرا إلى أنه بعد انتهاء الجولة حرص الوفد على تناول وجبة الغذاء في أول مطعم سياحي بمنطقة البانوراما الثانية، “ناين بيراميدز لاونج”، والذي افتتحه وزير السياحة والآثار والسيد نجيب ساويرس رئيس مجلس إدارة والمدير التنفيذي لشركة أوراسكوم للاستثمار، مساء يوم الثلاثاء بحضور ٥٠ سفيرا أجنبيًا وعربياً وأفريقياً بالقاهرة، والذي يعد أول ثمرات التعاون بين المجلس الأعلى للأثار وشركة أوراسكوم للاستثمار، لتقديم وتشغيل الخدمات بالمنطقة وذلك ضمن البروتوكول الذي تم توقيعه في ديسمبر ٢٠١٨.
كما تم التشغيل التجريبي لأول حافلة كهربائية صديقة للبيئة والتي ستتنقل في مسار منطقة الزيارة من خلال ستة محطات رئيسية داخل المنطقة الأثرية.
وأشار محي الدين إلى أن الوفد ابدى اعجابه بالمنظر الذي يطل عليه المطعم، حيث أنهم لأول مرة يستطيعون رؤية التسع اهرامات الموجودة بالمنطقة.
جدير بالذكر أن مشروع تطوير المنطقة يضمن توفير وسائل الانتقال بداخل منطقة اهرامات الجيزة من أتوبيسات وعربات تعمل بالكهرباء وطاقة صديقة للبيئة، وتزويد المنطقة بدورات مياه متنقلة وذاتية التنظيف، مع استحداث خدمات الوجبات السريعة والمأكولات والمشروبات بالمنطقة في الأماكن التي حددها ووافق عليها المجلس الأعلى للآثار، وغيرها من الخدمات السياحية المتفق عليها، وذلك في إطار حرص الوزارة على الارتقاء بجودة الخدمات المقدمة للزائرين بالمنطقة، التي تعد واحدة من أهم المقاصد السياحية في العالم.
Two days after its opening, “9 Pyramids Lounge” by the Pyramids of Giza welcomed tourists.
Many tourist delegations flocked to the Pyramids of Giza today, including a group from Belarus and Ukraine, coming from Sharm El-Sheikh as a part of their “one-day” trip, and they enjoyed a meal at the newly opened “9 Pyramids Lounge” restaurant.
Ashraf Mohi El-Din, Head of the Giza Pyramids archeological site, said that
tourists expressed their admiration for the way the Pyramids were built, and their amazement at the enormity of the Great Sphinx and that they took photos in the panorama area.
He added that after the tour ended, the delegation had lunch lunch at the first tourist restaurant in the panorama area, “9 Pyramids Lounge”, which was inaugurated by the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Khaled El-Enany and Mr. Naguib Sawiris, Chairmain of Orascom Investment, last Tuesday, with 50 foreign, Arab and African ambassadors in Cairo attending the inauguration ceremony. This restaurant is the first of many milestones within the cooperation protocol between the Supreme Council of Antiquities and Orascom Investment, to provide and operate services in the archeological site. This protocol was signed in December 2018. In addition, a trial run of the first environmental-friendly Hop on Hop Off electric bus took place during the inauguration.
Mohi El-Din said that the group was impressed by the view from restaurant, describing it as “charming”, as they were able, for the first time, to see nine pyramids.
It is noteworthy that the development project of the Giza plateau includes providing transportation within the Giza Plateau, including buses and vehicles powered by electricity and environmental-friendly energy. In addition to providing mobile and self-cleaning toilets; and introducing food and beverage services in the site in places specified and approved by the Supreme Council of Antiquities; among other services for visitors and tourists. All this is part of the ministry’s efforts to improve the quality of services provided to visitors and tourists in this magnificent archeological site, one of the most important tourist destinations in the world.
