صرحت بذلك الأستاذة صباح عبد الرازق مدير عام المتحف المصري بالتحرير، مشيرة إلى أن هذا الإجراء يأتي ضمن استعدادات المتحف لانطلاق الموكب، ومؤكدة على أن المتحف سيفتح أبوابه أمام الزيارة يوم الأحد الموافق ٤ أبريل وفقاً لمواعيد الفتح والإغلاق الرسمية وذلك بعد الانتهاء من عملية نقل المومياوات الملكية.
In light of the event of The Pharaoh’s Golden Parade where royal mummies will be transferred a majestic procession from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir will close its doors “temporarily” to the visitors next Saturday, April 3, 2021, provided that the period of reception of visitors extends on Friday April 2, 2021 until 7:00 pm instead of 5:00 pm.
Ms. Sabah Abdel Razek, Director General of the Egyptian Museum noted that this procedure is part of the museum’s preparations for the start of the parade, and confirming that the museum will open its doors to visitors on Sunday, April 4, according to the official opening and closing dates, after the completion of the transfer of royal mummies.
