و قد أعرب السفراء وقريناتهم عن سعادتهم بزيارة هذا الصرح العظيم ومشاهدة ما يعرضه من كنوز أثرية فريدة والمومياوات الملكية التي تم نقلها في موكب مهيب من المتحف المصري بالتحرير.
وفي نهاية الزيارة حرص السادة السفراء على التقاط الصور التذكارية لهم وتدوين كلمات في كتاب الزيارات الخاص بالمتحف.
جدير بالذكر أن هذا الاحتفال يأتي بمناسبة الذكرى الثامنة والخمسين لتأسيس أول منظمة للعمل الأفريقي المُشترك والتي جسدت روح التضامن الأفريقي في 25 مايو عام 1963، والمعروفة الآن باسم الإتحاد الإفريقي.
Celebrating Africa Day
On the occasion of Africa Day, which Egypt celebrates along with fellow African countries, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs arranged a visit
for the ambassadors of African countries and their spouses to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat.
The tour included a visit to the Central Exhibition Hall, the Mummies Hall, and the Museum Garden.
The ambassadors and their spouses were happy to see the unique archaeological treasures on display in the museum especially the royal mummies that were transported in a majestic parade from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir on April 3, 2021.
Africa Day celebrates the 58th anniversary of the founding of the first organization of joint African efforts, which embodied the spirit of African solidarity on May 25, 1963, now known as the African Union.
