عبرت السفينة السياحية “MSC WORLD EUROPA” في أولى رحلاتها البحرية عبر قناة السويس في رحلتها القادمة من أسبانيا والمتجهة إلى الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
تمتاز السفينة، التي يبلغ طولها 333 متر، وعرضها 47 متر، بكونها أولى السفن السياحية التي تعمل بالغاز الطبيعي المسال، وتستطيع أن تحمل على متنها حتى 6782 راكب.
ووفقًا للبروتوكول المتبع من قبل هيئة قناة السويس في التعامل مع السفن التي تعبر القناة لأول مرة، قام مسئولون من الهيئة بصعود المركب والترحيب بطاقمها، كما تم تقديم هدية تذكارية لربان السفينة.
واستطاعت قناة السويس استقبال أحدث سفن الأسطول العالمي بفضل مشروع قناة السويس الجديدة الذي سمح بزيادة الطاقة العددية والاستيعابية للقناة ورفع تصنيفها الملاحي عالميًا.
Cruise ship “MSC WORLD EUROPA” crosses the Suez Canal
The cruise ship “MSC WORLDEUROPA” crossed, on its first cruise, the Suez Canal during its route from Spain to the United Arab Emirates.
The ship, which has a length of 333 meters and a width of 47 meters, is the first cruise ship powered by natural gas, and it can carry up to 6,782 passengers.
According to the protocol followed by the Suez Canal Authority in dealing with ships transiting the canal for the first time, officials boarded the ship and welcomed its crew, and they also presented a gift to the ship’s captain.
The Suez Canal is now able to receive ships of significant size thanks to the new Suez Canal Project, which allowed increasing the capacity of the canal and raised its global navigational classification.
