قام السيد عبد الفتاح العاصي مساعد وزير السياحة والآثار للرقابة على المنشآت الفندقية والمحال والأنشطة السياحية بزيارة تفقدية إلى محافظة جنوب سيناء، قام خلالها بعقد لقاءات مع عدد من أصحاب مراكز الغوص والأنشطة البحرية للتعرف على المشكلات والعقبات التي تواجههم خاصة خلال الفترة الماضية والعمل على حلها، وذلك بالتعاون والتنسيق الكامل مع كافة الجهات المعنية.
ومن جانبه، أشار السيد عبد الفتاح العاصي إلى أنه سيتم العمل على وضع آلية لحل هذه المشكلات في أقرب وقت، مؤكدا على حرص الوزارة على تقديم كافة التيسيرات والتسهيلات للمستثمرين لإنهاء كافة الخدمات من خلال مكتب الوزارة بالمحافظة بدلاً من القاهرة، موضحاً أن ذلك يأتي في ضوء خطة الوزارة لتطبيق اللامركزية وسعياً من الوزارة للتسهيل والتيسير على المستثمرين في إطار قيام المكاتب بتقديم جميع الخدمات بالمحافظات.
وأضاف السيد عبد الفتاح العاصي أنه قام خلال الزيارة بتفقد مكتب الوزارة بالمحافظة للعمل على تهيئته حتى يتسنى للمكتب القيام بدوره على الوجه الأكمل ومن ثم تقديم الخدمات للمستثمرين في هذه المنطقة سواء للفنادق أو المطاعم أو مراكز غوص أو الأنشطة البحرية.
كما تم خلال الزيارة عقد العديد من الاجتماعات مع الجهات المعنية للتنسيق فيما يخص تذليل العقبات التي تواجه الأنشطة السياحية المختلفة.
وقام السيد عبد الفتاح العاصي خلال زيارته بالاطلاع على نتائج أعمال اللجان التي تقوم بالمرور والتفتيش على فنادق مدينة شرم الشيخ للتأكد من التزام كافة الفنادق بتطبيق ضوابط السلامة الصحية والاجراءات الاحترازية، مشيراً الي تحسن نسب الإشغال بالمنشآت الفندقية في ظل ما تقوم به الدولة من إجراءات لاستعادة الحركة السياحية وكذلك الدور الرقابي للوزارة للتأكد من قيام جميع المنشآت الفندقية بتطبيق كافة الاجراءات الاحترازية.
جدير بالذكر أن السيد عبد الفتاح العاصي قام خلال زيارته لمحافظة جنوب سيناء بالمشاركة نيابة عن وزير السياحة والآثار في الجولة التي قامت بها وزيرة البيئة ومحافظ جنوب سيناء، والمؤتمر الذي عقدوه بمدينه دهب في ضوء مبادرة وزارة البيئة بعدم استخدام الاكياس البلاستيك واستبدالها بأكياس ورقية أو كرتون أو قماشية نظرا لأهمية هذا الموضوع وارتباطه بالحفاظ على الموارد الطبيعية والشعاب المرجانية ونظافة قاع البحر لما للمواد البلاستكية من أضرار على البيئة والموارد الطبيعية بالمحافظة.
كما تم أيضا التعاون من قبل الوزارة في آلية تنفيذ خطة إدارة المياه والمحميات بوزارة البيئة للحفاظ على الموارد الطبيعية في مدينه شرم الشيخ وخاصه محميه رأس محمد ووضع آلية جيدة تضمن الحفاظ على هذه الموارد وعدم الضرر بها في ضوء الخطة الموضوعة وذلك تماشياً مع توجهات الدولة بضرورة التنسيق مع كافة الجهات المعنية للوصول الي الاستغلال الأمثل للموارد والحفاظ عليها.
كما قاموا بالعديد من الجولات الميدانية الي المحميات الطبيعية بالمحافظة لبحث الاستغلال الأمثل لتلك الموارد.

For his part, Mr. Abdel-Fattah Al-Assi indicated that work will be made to develop a mechanism to solve these problems as soon as possible, stressing the ministry’s keenness to provide all facilities to the investors to end all services through the ministry’s office in the governorate instead of Cairo, explaining that this comes in light of The ministry’s plan to implement decentralization, in an effort by the ministry to facilitate for the investors, in the context of the offices providing all services in the governorates.
Mr. Abdel-Fattah Al-Assi added that during the visit, he visited the Ministry’s office in the governorate to work on preparing it so that the office could fully play its role and then provide services to investors in this area, whether for hotels, restaurants, diving centers or marine activities.
During the visit, many meetings were held with the concerned authorities to coordinate regarding overcoming obstacles facing various tourism activities.
During his visit, Mr. Abdel-Fattah Al-Assi reviewed the results of the work of the committees that pass and inspect the hotels in Sharm El-Sheikh to ensure that all hotels apply health safety controls and precautionary measures, indicating that occupancy rates in hotel establishments have improved considering the state’s measures to restore movement Tourism, as well as the supervisory role of the Ministry to ensure that all hotel establishments apply all precautionary measures.
It is worth noting that Mr. Abdel Fattah Al-Assi, during his visit to South Sinai Governorate, participated on behalf of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities in the tour that the Minister of Environment and the Governor of South Sinai made, and the conference they held in Dahab in light of the Ministry of Environment’s initiative not to use plastic bags and replace them with paper or cardboard bags or Cloth due to the importance of this issue and its link to the preservation of natural resources, coral reefs and the cleanliness of the seabed, as plastic materials harm the environment and natural resources in the governorate.
Cooperation has also been made by the Ministry in the implementation mechanism of the water and reserves management plan at the Ministry of Environment to preserve the natural resources in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh, especially the Ras Mohammed reserve, and a good mechanism has been set up to ensure the preservation of these resources and not to harm them in light of the set plan, in line with the state’s directives on the necessity of coordination With all the concerned authorities to reach the optimum utilization and preservation of resources.
They also made many field trips to the natural reserves in the governorate to discuss the optimal utilization of these resources.
