رشحت صحيفة “التليجراف” البريطانية مصر كوجهة “مذهلة” لقضاء العطلة الشتوية هذا العام، داعية كل محبي السفر حول العالم لزيارة أرض الفراعنة والاستمتاع بما لديها من مقومات سياحية وأثرية مختلفة. وقالت الصحيفة في تقرير ، إن “مصر أثبتت شعبيتها كوجهة سياحية مفضلة” ، مشيرة إلى أن هذا العام هو الوقت المناسب لزيارة البلاد؛ نظرا لأنه يصادف مرور مائة سنة على اكتشاف مقبرة الفرعون الصغير توت عنخ آمون، أحد أعظم الاكتشافات الأثرية في العالم على مر العصور. وكذلك الذكرى السنوية الثانية لفك رموز حجر رشيد، إلى جانب افتتاح المتحف المصري الكبير.

The British publication “The Telegraph” nominated Egypt as an “amazing” destination for spending the winter holidays this year, inviting all travel around the world to visit the land of the Pharaohs and enjoy its various tourist and archaeological potentials. In a report, the newspaper said, “Egypt has proven its popularity as a favorite tourist destination,” noting that this year is the right time to visit the country; since it marks the centenary of the discovery of the tomb of the young pharaoh Tutankhamun, one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the world as well as the second anniversary of the deciphering of the Rosetta Stone, in addition to the opening of the long-awaited Grand Egyptian Museum
