تفقد اليوم الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، رئيس مجلس الوزراء، المتحف المصري الكبير؛ للوقوف على آخر مستجدات الموقف التنفيذي للأعمال الإنشائية بالمتحف، وتطوير المنطقة المحيطة بالمتحف.
رافقه خلال الجولة الدكتور خالد العناني، وزير السياحة والآثار، والدكتور عاصم الجزار، وزير الإسكان والمرافق والمجتمعات العمرانية، واللواء أحمد راشد، محافظ الجيزة، والدكتور مصطفى وزيري، الأمين العام للمجلس الأعلى للآثار، واللواء عاطف مفتاح، المشرف العام على المتحف المصري الكبير والمنطقة المحيطة به.
وخلال الجولة أكد الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي للعاملين بالمتحف المصري الكبير على أنهم يسهمون بسواعدهم في بناء صرح عالمي، ثقافي أثري حضاريّ وسياحيّ؛ فالدولة لا تبنى مجرد متحف، لكنه مجمع كبير للثقافة والآثار والحضارة المصرية، مؤكدا أن هذا المشروع يحظى بمتابعة وتوجيه مستمر من فخامة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، وهناك توجيه من القيادة السياسية بألا يتوقف العمل، حتى يتم الانتهاء منه بصورة حضارية مبهرة للعالم بأسره.ومن جانبه، قدم الدكتور خالد العناني، وزير السياحة والآثار، عرضا حول المتحف المصري الكبير أشار خلاله إلى أن المتحف مقام على مساحة تصل إلى 500,000 متر مربع، كما قدم شرحا وافيا حول الموقف التنفيذي لعملية نقل القطع الأثرية، التي تمت حتى نهاية الشهر الماضي، مشيرا إلى أنه تم نقل 352 قطعة أثرية، كما تم ترميم وصيانة 892 قطعة، وبذلك يكون إجمالي عدد القطع الأثرية التي تم نقلها 54055 قطعة أثرية، كما يبلغ بذلك إجمالي عدد القطع التي تم ترميمها وصيانتها 52577 قطعة أثرية، لافتا إلى أن إجمالي عدد القطع التي تم نقلها من مركب خوفو الثانية بلغ 47 قطعة، وبلغ عدد القطع الأثرية التي تم نقلها من مجموعة الملك توت عنخ آمون5340 قطعة، كما وصل عدد القطع التي تم نقلها على الدرج العظيم 65 قطعة، وتم رفع 52 قطعة على هذا الدرج العظيم، وفي هذا الصدد، شهد رئيس الوزراء عملية نقل القطع الأثرية على أرض الواقع، مشيدا بأنها تتم بمنتهى الدقة.
The Prime Minister visits the Grand Egyptian Museum
Today, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, visited the Grand Egyptian Museum; to see the latest developments in the museum’s construction, and the area surrounding it.
He was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, Dr. Mustafa Waziry, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and Major General Atef Moftah, General Supervisor of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the surrounding area.
During his tour of the museum, Dr Madbouly assured the staff of the Grand Egyptian Museum that they are contributing to building a global, cultural, archaeological, and touristic landmark. He added that Egypt is not merely building a museum, but a grand complex for Egyptian culture, antiquities and civilization, stressing that this project is closely under continuous follow-up and guidance from His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and there is a direct order from the political leadership not to halt any work, until it is completed in a grandiose way that will attract the attention of the entire world.
Dr. Khaled El Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, presented the Grand Egyptian Museum, indicating that it is built on an area of approximately 500,000 square meters. He also gave a full explanation about the transfer of artifacts to the museum last month. He pointed out that 352 artifacts were transferred, and 892 pieces were restored; thus the total number of artifacts that have been transferred is 54,055 artifacts, and the total number of restored and preserved one is 52,577 artifacts. The artifacts that were transported from the second Khufu solar boat, reached 47 pieces, and the number of artifacts that were transferred from King Tutankhamun’s collection reached 5340 pieces. He added that the number of pieces that were transported to be displayed on the Grand Staircase is around 65 pieces, and 52 pieces were placed on the Grand Staircase.
The Prime Minister witnessed the transfer of artifacts on ground, saying that it is carried out with the utmost precision.
