This sign represents a deity with a curved beard: he sits on one knee, bends the other, and raises both hands as if supporting the sky; he also has a palm-branch sign placed above his head.

It is pronounced as “heh”, meaning “million” and “eternal”, and was the personification of eternity.

This sign was also used for the deity of eternity, Heh. Here, Heh is depicted on the back of Tutankhamun’s ceremonial chair, kneeling on the sign for “gold”.
