ومن جانبه، أشار مساعد الوزير للرقابة على المنشآت الفندقية والمحال والأنشطة السياحية إلى أنه جاري العمل على استكمال فحص باقي المنشآت السياحية والفندقية في محافظتي البحر الأحمر وجنوب سيناء تباعاً.
وأضاف أن اجراءات تطعيم العاملين بالقطاع السياحي بالأمصال المضادة لفيروس كورونا بمحافظتي البحر الأحمر وجنوب سيناء تتم بشكل مكثف بالتنسيق مع وزارة الصحة والسكان وغرفة المنشآت الفندقية، مشيراً إلى أنه سوف يتم في القريب العاجل الاعلان عن الانتهاء من تطعيم كافة العاملين بالقطاع بهاتين المحافظتين اللتان تستقبلان العدد الأكبر من السائحين في مصر لما تتمتعان به من أماكن مفتوحة وطبيعة خلابة وشمس دافئة وجو صحي مع تطبيق إجراءات احترازية صارمة أشاد بها أكثر من 2.5 مليون سائح توافدوا الى مصر منذ عودة السياحة في يوليو الماضي وحتي الأن.
Dr. Khaled Al-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, received today a detailed report submitted by Mr Abdel Fattah Al-Asi, Assistant Minister for Supervising Hotel Establishments, Shops and Tourist Activities on the preparations for the summer season and the Ministry’s efforts to ensure the quality of services provided in hotels and tourism establishments and their commitment to implementing the set precautionary measures and hygiene safety controls and the vaccination of workers in them. The report indicated that the department of the ministry examined 207 hotels and 50 tourist establishments including tourist restaurants and cafeterias in the Red Sea and South Sinai governorates.
The assistant Minister added that work is underway to complete the examination of the rest of the tourist and hotel establishments in the Red Sea and South Sinai governorates, respectively.
He added that procedures for vaccinating workers in the tourism sector with anti-Coronavirus vaccines in the Red Sea and South Sinai governorates are done in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Population and the Egyptian Hotel Association. He said that soon completing the vaccination of all workers in the sector will be announced in these two governorates that receive the largest number of tourists in Egypt for its open places, beautiful nature, warm sunny and healthy weather, implementing strict precautionary measures that have been praised by more than 2.5 million tourists who flocked to Egypt since the return of tourism last July until now.
