More A statement issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports: The Minister of Sport and the Governor of Cairo witness the conclusion of Ramadan courses at the Center for Youth Development in Al Jazeera D. Ashraf Sobhi praises the great turnout of young men and girls to participate in Ramadan courses in order to fulfill the ministry’s vision in spreading the culture of practicing sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Major General Khaled Abdel-Al Governor of Cairo, witnessed the conclusion of Ramadan courses competitions carried out by the Ministry of Neighborhoods, Popular Clubs and Community Institutions, and Women’s Football organized by the Central Administration for Sports Development (General Administration of Popular Qada) during the holy month of Ramadan. The closing ceremony was held at the Center for Youth Development in Jazeera in the presence of Major General Ismail Alfar, Head of the Youth Sector, Dr. Sonia Abdel Wahab, Head of the Central Department for Sports Development, Dr. Ashraf Al-Bajrami, Head of the central Department of Youth Institutions, Major General Abdul Rahman Shalsh, Head of the Union for Minister’s Affairs, Dr. Amr Al-Hadad, Assistant Minister, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Batch Assistant to the Minister, Dr. Ghada Jamal, General Manager of the Popular Base, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Director General of the Qualitative Unions, Dr. Kamal Darwish, Chairman of the Scientific Committee in the Ministry, Dr. Essam Sirajuddin, Head of the Economic Unit in the Ministry, and Mr. Hazein, Directorate of Youth and Sports in Cairo, and a number of the directors and agents of governorates in the governorates in the provinces. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi praised the high turnout of young men and women to participate in the Ramadan courses conducted by the Ministry during the holy month of Ramadan in football in different governorates, and the strong competitions they played in the championship. He confirmed that these activities come in the light of the Ministry’s strategy towards spreading the culture of exercise within the community and encouraging to adhere to it because of its importance at the level of physical and mental preparation and building a positive personality of the individual, in advance thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the implementation of these Ramadan courses. He won the biology and popular clubs course, in the first place Fayoum Governorate, in the second place Beni Sweif, and in the third place Menoufia. The Ramadan round of women’s football carried the slogan of “A thousand girls, a thousand dreams”, and came in the first place in the West Governorate, the second place in Cairo Governorate, and the third place in the Red Sea. On the eve of the Ramadan cycle of civil society institutions, in cooperation with the Foundation of Volunteer Work Ambassadors for Development, the Directorate of Youth and Sport in Bani Sweif achieved first place, the Life Makers Association in second place, and the third place was the Western Directorate of Youth & Sports.Translated from Arabic
