بمناسبة الاحتفال بيوم أفريقيا والذي يوافق يوم ٢٥ مايو من كل عام، أوضح الدكتور مصطفى وزيري الأمين العام للمجلس الأعلى للآثار، موافقة المجلس على منح المواطنين الأفارقة تخفيض بنسبة ٥٠٪ على رسوم دخول المواقع الأثرية والمتاحف المفتوحة للزيارة، وذلك يوم غدا الثلاثاء الموافق ٢٥ مايو ٢٠٢١.
جدير بالذكر أن الاحتفال بيوم أفريقيا يتزامن مع تأسيس منظمة الوحدة الأفريقية عام ١٩٦٣ والمعروفة الآن باسم الاتحاد الأفريقي.
On the occasion of Africa Day, which falls on 25 May each year, Dr. Mustafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, explained the Council’s approval to grant African citizens a 50% discount on the entrance fees for archaeological sites and museums open to visit, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
The celebration of Africa Day coincides with the founding of the Organization of African Unity in 1963, now known as the African Union.
