Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, on the sidelines of the Egyptian-European summit.
President El-Sisi and the Greek Prime Minister discussed a multitude of issues pertinent to bilateral cooperation, primarily the joint declaration on the establishment of a High-Level Cooperation Council between the two countries, which is set to be signed today. The talks also focused on the situation in the region. President El-Sisi and Greek Prime Minister, Mitsotakis, underscored the vital imperative for intensified efforts to end the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, which is grappling with acute starvation, by exerting significant pressure to reach an immediate ceasefire.
