وخلال اللقاء تم الإشارة إلى الزيارة الأخيرة للوزير للعاصمة القطرية ومناقشة سبل تفعيل ما تفق الاتفاق عليه في أوجه التعاون المختلفة، كما أشار الوزير إلى حوافز الاستثمار الفندقي التي وافق عليها مجلس الوزراء المصري مؤخرًا لتشجيع المستثمرين المحليين والدوليين على الاستثمار السياحي في مصر.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities received the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Cairo after he officially assumed his duties.
They both discussed ways of cooperation in the field of tourism and antiquities, combating illicit trafficking in cultural property, recovering stolen and smuggled antiquities, and training and exchanging opportunities in the field of museum studies, restoration, and excavation work.
During the meeting, reference was made to the Minister’s recent visit to the Qatari capital, and they discussed ways to activate what was agreed upon in various aspects of cooperation. The Minister also referred to the hotel investment incentives recently approved by the Egyptian Council of Ministers to encourage local and international investors to invest in the Egyptian tourism industry.
