احتفلت الوزارة، من قلب المتحف المصري بالتحرير، بيوم السياحة العالمي الموافق ٢٧ سبتمبر.

ويتزامن هذا العام مع الاحتفال بمرور ٢٠٠ عام على فك رموز الكتابة المصرية القديمة ونشأة علم المصريات.

وحضر الاحتفال وزير الطيران المدني ومحافظ القاهرة، ومجموعة من قيادات السياحة والآثار وسفراء الدول الأجنبية بالقاهرة، وعدد من رؤساء معاهد الآثار الأجنبية في مصر.

٢٠٠ عام علم مصريات

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities celebrated, from the heart of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, the World Tourism Day, corresponding to September 27.

The date coincides this year with the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the deciphering of ancient Egyptian writing and the emergence of Egyptology.

The celebration was attended by the Minister of Civil Aviation, the Governor of Cairo, a group of tourism and antiquities leaders, ambassadors of foreign countries to Cairo, and a number of heads of foreign antiquities institutes in Egypt.
