عبر تقنية الفيديو كونفرانس، اجتمعت الأستاذة غادة شلبى نائب وزير السياحة والآثار لشئون السياحة مع السيد جوريرو جوليان Guerrero Julian نائب وزير السياحة والتجارة والصناعة الكولومبي، وذلك لبحث سبل تعزيز العلاقات السياحية بين الجانبين المصرى والكولومبى.
وقد شارك في الاجتماع السفير سامى سالم سفير مصر لدى كولومبيا، والسفيرة أنا ميلينا Ana Milena سفيرة كولومبيا لدى مصر، والسيد كريم محسن عضو غرفة الشركات ووكالات السفر والسياحة، وممثلين عن القطاع السياحى الحكومى من الجانبين.
وخلال الاجتماع قدمت الأستاذة غادة شلبى عرضا تقديميا استعرضت خلاله الحركة السياحية الوافدة إلى مصر منذ استئناف حركة السياحة في يوليو الماضي، مشيرة إلى أنها شهدت تحسنا ملحوظا مما يؤكد ثقة الدول التي استقبلت مصر سائحيها في المقصد السياحي المصري. كما استعرضت الإجراءات الاحترازية وضوابط السلامة الصحية التي وضعتها مصر ويتم تطبيقها في المطارات والمنشآت الفندقية والسياحية والمتاحف والمواقع الأثرية لضمان صحة وسلامة العاملين بالقطاع السياحي والمواطنين والسائحين مع استئناف حركة السياحة الوافدة إليها، مؤكدة على أن السائح خلال تواجده في مصر يشعر بالأمان لما يلمسه من جدية في تطبيق هذه الإجراءات الاحترازية.
كما تحدثت نائب الوزير عن الجهود التي قامت بها الوزارة للترويج للسياحة المصرية والتي من بينها الاكتشافات الأثرية العديدة التي تمثل عاملا أساسيا في جذب مزيد من الحركة السياحية، بالإضافة إلى دعوة العديد من المدونين والمؤثرين لزيارة مصر لنقل تجاربهم السياحية بها إلى متابعيهم، كما أشارت إلى موكب المومياوات الملكية الذى كان ولا يزال حديث العالم بأسره.
ومن جانبه، أعرب نائب وزير السياحة والتجارة والصناعة الكولومبي عن حبه الشديد لمصر وشغفه بالأماكن الأثرية المصرية والسياحة النيلية واهتمامه بأعمال الأديب المصرى العالمى نجيب محفوظ.
كما أشار إلى عدد من محاور التعاون السياحى بين الجانبين المصرى والكولومبى والتي من بينها التعاون في مجال التدريب في مختلف مجالات السياحة وتطوير السياحة الريفية حيث أشار إلى التجربة الكولومبية الناجحة في هذا الشأن فضلا عن التعاون في مجال الترويج من خلال تبادل المعلومات والخبرات، مشيرا إلى رغبة الجانب الكولومبي في بناء متحف عن تاريخ الطبيعة في كولومبيا معربا عن رغبته في الاستفادة من الخبرات المصرية ليكون على غرار المتحف المصرى الكبير.
وخلال الاجتماع تحدث سفير مصر لدى كولومبيا عن العلاقات السياحية الجيدة بين البلدين، مؤكدا على ضرورة تفعيل مزيد من اللقاءات مع وكلاء السياحة ومنظمى الرحلات من الجانبين لزيادة الحركة السياحية بين البلدين.
كما أشارت سفيرة كولومبيا لدى مصر إلى العلاقات المتميزة التي تجمع بين مصر وكولومبيا، مؤكدة على رغبة الجانب الكولومبي في تفعيل مزيد من التعاون مع الجانب المصرى خاصة في مجال السياحة.
The Vice Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs met with the Colombian vice Minister of Tourism, Trade, and Industry to discuss ways to strengthen tourism relations between both countries
Through a video conference Ms. Ghada Shalaby, vice Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs, met with Mr. Guerrero Julian, vice Minister of Tourism, Trade, and Industry of Colombia, to discuss ways to enhance tourism relations between the Egyptian and Colombian sides.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Sami Salem, Egypt’s ambassador for Colombia, Ambassador Ana Milena, Colombian ambassador in Egypt, and Mr. Karim Mohsen, member of the chamber for Travel and Tourism Companies. Among the attendees were representatives of the government tourism sector from both sides.
During the meeting, Ms. Ghada Shalaby gave a presentation in which she reviewed the tourism coming back to Egypt since the resumption of the tourism movement last July, noting that she witnessed a remarkable improvement, which confirms tourists’ confidence in Egypt as a destination. She also reviewed the precautionary measures and hygiene safety controls that Egypt has put in place and are applied in airports, hotels. tourist facilities, museums, and archaeological sites to ensure the health and safety of workers in the tourism sector, citizens, and tourists. She was stressing that the tourist during his stay in Egypt feels safe because of the seriousness he touches in those precautionary measures.
The vice Minister also talked about the efforts made by the Ministry to promote Egyptian tourism, among which are the many archaeological discoveries in addition to inviting many bloggers and influencers to visit Egypt to reflect on their tourism experience to their followers. She also referred to the Pharaoh’s Golden Parade which remains the talk of the whole world.
For his part, the Colombian vice Minister of Tourism, Trade, and Industry expressed his deep love for Egypt and his passion for Egyptian archaeological sites and Nile tourism, and his interest in the renowned Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz.
He also referred to a number of ways to enhance tourism cooperation between the Egyptian and Colombian sides, including cooperation in the field of training in various fields of tourism and the development of rural tourism, as he referred to the successful Colombian experience in this regard. He also highlighted cooperation in the field of promotion through the exchange of information and experiences, indicating the desire of the Colombian side in building a museum in the history of nature in Colombia. He expresses his desire to benefit from Egyptian expertise and the inspiration of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
During the meeting, the Egyptian ambassador spoke about the good tourism relations between the two countries, stressing the need to activate more meetings with tourism agents and tour operators from both sides. On the other hand, the Colombian ambassador also referred to the distinguished relations between Egypt and Colombia, stressing the desire of the Colombian side to activate more tourism cooperation in the future.
