Referred by Carter as “one of the greatest artistic treasures of the tomb”, This hunting box contained garments of the king inside of it.

The box is decorated with scenes of Tutankhamun defeating foreign enemies and hunting animals such as lions and gazelles.

As with all rulers, it was important for the king to be shown as triumphant and strong.
